The suit looks great, but one way to improve it is to add maybe a quarter to a half inch in the bicep so the coat doesn't gather and bunch on your arms. I would suggest trying a custom clothier, especially if you do like those fitted coats. @@sergeantbigmac Again I think that it really comes down to that bicep, having the coat pull in that place will make the jacket pull away from the neck as well when you move the arms. You can still adjust some of the gap of the collar with alterations, however, the bicep would have had to been made along with the coat.

That being said , when one is skinny with a thin width across horizontally, the thicker lapels make the chest busy, jumbled, and actually accentuate the negativity associated with "skinny". A thinner laper visually opens up that space given the appearance & illusion of width. I mention all of this , simply so you may understand why I make the statements in which I do. I merely have strong opinions on men wearing suits with the wrong style or fit. After all, it's a suit not a costume.

I have small shoulders, a long torso and despite years of exercise the years and genetics have caught up with my midsection. Too arthritis in the hips and legs hasn't helped in the exercise department. I like the idea of wearing something dark to downplay how big I've become. I miss that 30-inch waistline, but I enjoyed it while I had it!
