I liked the trick with the cardboard and the paint to lay down a line to cut from. Can you tell me more about that cutting sheer tool you used to cut the new sheet metal with? Looked like it works pretty good.

Absolutely pretty cool little trick. The shears are just a harbor freight special. They work great on 18 gage metal. When you need a good straight cut they are the way to go.
