Trial Tube - Honda Montesa RTL / 315 2 Stroke Fuji 1999 REBUILD - Factory HRC Replica

This bike is the culmination of 2 years of hard GRAFT!
We took a standard RTL from a shipping container that hadn't seen a day of kindness in its life and created a "no expense" spared FACTORY REPLICA of a bike that was so iconic is a triumph, to say the least.
The Honda Montesa partnership has always been one that has created iconic bikes but, the last time they identified a two-storke as just a HONDA was in 1999 under a young Takahisa Fujinami. His bike was so unique in not just the colour but also its name, parts and build quality. It was one of a kind then, which means this one is rarer than unicorn S***.
When it came to the recreation of this 1999 Fuji replica we didn't rush and we have made sure everything is period correct all the way down to the Sticker placement and all sorts of mindless madness!

I'm 40 years old now IV been doing Motocross with my lad the last ten years or so. When I was about 15 ISH I was doing a bit of trial's riding but was a big fan. My favourite trials bike was always the montesa and always wanted a Dougie lampkin replica with red tank white rear mudguard. We're gonna buy a couple of bikes for winter training and 100% I'm getting myself the montesa I always wanted. This build is amazing well done lads ❤

It is fit. Got a 315 that I only bring out on dry summer days. Made the mistake of riding it in a 2 day a couple of years ago and flipped it on a step and dented the brand new banyeres silencer. Still not come to terms with it 😢. It will get a full rebuild one day. Pinky first though. It’s expensive having old bikes that you don’t ride!

Used to have the 315 and did the same to the styling making it a rtl as Fuji was my favorite rider. Miss the tractor, it just always worked.

What a bike this is. I am an old school trials bike fan ie Bultaco Sherpa' Montesa Cota' Suzuki RL' and of course YAMAHA TY Air Cooled bikes and not forgetting the HONDA TL 125. I started off on a Yamaha TY 175 then a MONTESA COTA 247 and 348 MONTESA COTA that I still have I will be buried with that bike lol.. I like the new-ish GREAVES TRIALS BIKES the odd BETA' SHERCO ' and a few others but I think the old-school bikes just look so much better I am all for modern bikes as they are a million times better in design and technology but they just look kind of flimsy and fragile to me I know that they are not and are just superior to the old school trials bikes. I have always been a massive fan of YORKSHIRE ROYALTY MY FELLOW MUCKERS THE LAMPKIN FAMILY OF SILSDEN AS WELL AS THE WILKINSONS OF Kettle. Well, I live in HASTINGS EAST SUSSEX but I am a proud BRADFORDION and Yorkshire chap through and through. I LOVE ALL MOTORSPORTS ESPECIALLY RALLYING AND ENDURO RACING BILLY BOLT IS GOD NO QUESTION and as for TONI BOU what has not been said about him. Anyway getting back to the bike in question please don't leave it as an ornament as bikes like these need to be ridden and not hidden in a garage. I love the program so keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next one. Matt the surrogate northern southerner.

@@DaveWhoNone It's a nice mixture of 250 bottom ends and the high revs of 125. Just a great bike all around for making it happen! Such is a good choice for those with a mature view of both power and grip!

I bought a 2002 Dougie Lampkin replica.Reliable bike but knocked more than a deaf Jehovah’s Witness.Snapped rear mudguard genuine one was £110 22 years ago.Reassuringly expensive Honda quality/prices.2002 was the year the gg pro came out.
