“Kurama: Overcoming Hatred in the name of love” Is the best light novel to come out of Naruto. It’s story tells the entire story of this vengeful fox and the moment where he realizes “I have been intentionally harming the Old man” (in reference to hagoromo) and it destroys him for a split second…then he decides, I will never ever let anyone hurt Naruto again. This is the moment that I believe Naruto truly erased the hatred in Kurama because: he didn’t actually do it. Kurama’s guilt did. Hagoromo was the only person who ever gave two shits about him and…he was always trying to take control of Naruto or escalating situations. Even though he isn’t exactly the same as him…that moment where he sees it. That must have been devastating but…we also saw that from that moment…the Ninetails and Naruto were one hundred percent a team. The visual version of it would be perfect for your medium.
