Me too!!!! I'm South African. Black. Listening to Tricky made me a real weirdo at the time 😂. I was so obsessed with Tricky that I even arranged a meeting with his then manager when I was visiting New York. Tricky was living there at the time. I can't remember what excuse was given but the manager didn't make it but instead offered to send me a VHS copy of the Tricky documentary called Naked and Famous. It is now available on KZbin

Oh my god...so surreal and so Lynch. TP comes to mind. Yet it doesn't surprise me because both Lynch and Tricky are into mysticism, occultism,Voodoo and The Symbolism of Dreams plus so much more. This brings back some of the most badass moments and seeing Tricky develop styles yet still stayed true to his mad as hell ideas. Both him and Martina worked so Fxxking well together. I think Tricky is such a badass, genuine and immensely deep and profound. I love his art so much 🔥💯🔥
