Hey, i always have loved your reviews. And ik i am very late. Its just this video popped up on my recommendations, and i came watching it. I have watched the movie in theatre in the opening weekend and i dont think it was that bad of a movie. I have always love ramayan and i loved the theme and everything. All in all i liked the movie. Even my father was so impressed he rewatched it in theatre the next weekend. Maybe it wasnt a too thoughtful movie but it was good and entertaining. Not as bad as you make it sound. Moreover i also watched bhool bhulaiyan the same weekend and this was far better than that!!

Bro, there is no story, not a single song, no screentime or character arc for most actors, no continuity or logical explanation for exactly how and why things are taking place in the plot, actors are just walking with background score for 30 mins, no emotional connection between any characters. I went for the morning show and I was tapping out after first 20 minutes. What a way to start the month!

I watched the film yesterday, and I found it to be almost anti-climatic. Ramayan's Ravaan is devious, a maha-gyaani, arrogant, and extremely skilled. Arjun Kapoor seemed to cover some of the bases of the Ravaan character. Arjun Kapoor's skill as a ruthless, objective leader was shown, yes, but the final battle didn't seem to match my expectations. The fact is that Ravaan had support from his brother Kumbakarn, and his sons Tara, Akshay, Ahiravana and Indrajit during the final Lanka battle, yet, nothing was shown parallel to those. The three "important: men under Arjun Kapoor could've been shown more parallel to Indrajit or Kumbakarn and could've been portrayed a bit better. Arjun Kapoor's acting was quite enjoyable though. The way he justified himself as Ravaan and defended the character was a good change a pace. The sheer randomness of the Russian guy owning the port while doing nothing to defend it from been blown up. Also, I agree with you about Tiger and Deepika's scenes sticking out of the movie like a sore thumb. The spoon-feeding was quite obvious. Too many cooks, too many backstories gave a pause to the main flow of the film. The film transitions in many places seemed very jerked suddenly an action sequence and suddenly a parallel to Ramayan and broke my flow from the film. The weirdest part was Simmba and Singham being shown like Hanumaanji and Ram Bhagvan because in the "Sooryavanshi", Simmba calls Singham a "purana chawal". I don't know about you but during the introduction of Simmba comparing him to Hanumaanji, all that came to mind was that scene. One silver lining shown was the mindset change of Shourya, SIngham and Avni's son towards Ramayaan. That was quite good to see.

WHAT IF TIGER SHROFF actually helps Singham to catch Jackie Shroff in the first scene(this would justify him being Lakshman). Deepika's character is completely eliminated and introduced in the mid /post credit scene as lady singham along with salman for future installments . And they don't show Ramayan references on the face and prefer leaving it for us to understand what symbolizes what . The film would have made more sense . Also , if Indian police force web series was made as a part of COP UNIVERSE and siddharth malhotra was utilized as laxman instead of tiger shroff , it would have been a great connection. Also , salman khan's cameo was 😂😂😂😒😒 . But what if they made DEVI LAL SINGH from Kick a part of the COP UNIVERSE , as this would have solved the KAREENA issue .

@@5001Wasif Just came out of the theatre. And it was interesting, like it’s not actually bad. I quite enjoyed it and so did the audience in the theatres. Obviously it doesn’t match to the OG, but as a standalone movie it’s pretty good. Loved Kartik and Tripti’s performance. I think the trailer was really badly cut and edited cause we already had that cringey preconception of the movie. Madhuri and Vidya were also quite good.
