Love listening to these guys discover the difference between a score and a song.
@namnams14952 жыл бұрын
It really was hilarious because it felt almost like they somewhat expected a score to be just like a song.

Who’s gonna tell Pyrion that Eminem is the most successful rapper of all time, and also the 6th most successful solo artist of all time lol he’s sold more records worldwide (220 million) than both Drake (170 million) and Kanye (140 million)
@Oldnoname2 жыл бұрын
And he said Eminem doesn't have longevity. Eminem has been around over 20 years. Pyrion is a total boomer. Lol Sips is also right about there being more avenues being the reason there aren't more superstars. Also, not a bad thing just means more people have exposure.
@tigerstripes74272 жыл бұрын
his response to sips saying eminem shows he really doesnt understand his own bias lol. that and the metal comment to lewis. Most peole my age and younger nowadays (im 25) listen to every genre it seems a good song is a good song. and eminem is quite literally my generations michael jackson imo

They sounded really old during the music/famous people part. I’d say Eminem is a world recognisable name. He’s not as big as he was, but neither was Michael Jackson in the 2000s.

For people aged roughly 30 years old Eminem is still prevalent, but for some reason I seem to know more women who like him nowadays

I liked the Flintstones as a kid. I had to pause the video and look up the intro. The intro they go to the drive-in movie and it pans to the screen and then the episode starts, as if that's what is playing. The end credits are them leaving the movie and going to the drive-in diner. Yes they are ribs.

I think it’s honestly relatively easy… they reason we don’t have super mega stars in the same way is because there were limited media streams previously and they made the decisions about what you were going to watch and who you were going to see on tv / in media. Now with the democratisation of information we now get to pick who we look at and pay attention to. Also attention span has clearly dropped. It’s not pearl clutching and I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing but it is a thing. If an album comes out then irrelevant of if it’s a mind blowing album, no one gives a shit next week. Media moves faster cos there is so much of it because anyone can be “media”

In regards to popstars and their looks, I wouldn't say Lewis Capaldi is much of a stunner but he found worldwide fame a few years back. Then again, his father is Peter Capaldi so that most likely played a hand in that

The thing about "we're all gonna get rich" is that a lot of them *did* get rich from it. Just like a lot of already-rich people and some lucky early adopters are getting rich with crypto and NFTs. If you know how to play the game (scam), and you can afford the price of entry, you can profit hugely. The trick is just to get out in time. And believe me, the smart ones knew the housing bubble was going to burst, and the smart ones know it with the current scams. That video later talks about pyramid schemes because it's the same idea. Be early, grift as hard as you can, and shift the risk to some other sucker before it gets to you. When they say "we're" going to make it, or WAGMI, or whatever, they don't mean everyone. They mean the group of them who will eventually be on top of the rubble when it ends.

I love how Pyrion thinks Drake is a superstar (rofl) but thinks Eminem is not a big deal. He's the best rapper of all time and nobody disagrees with that. Drake is a B-celeb compared to Eminem. Pyrion more and more becomes an old man that has no clue about the real world xD

So am i and Sips the only 2 that think Eminem is alot bigger than Drake or Kanye West?

That would have been true 15 years ago, closer to when sips was in NA. Eminem might still be a more recognizable name internationally though
@tigerstripes74272 жыл бұрын
i dont understand wtf pyrion and lewis were saying in response to sips comments on fame and celebreties. I genuinely think he has a correct take. and also these guys are forgettting theyre like 30+ and just because they haven't heard of doja cat doesnt mean she isnt popular. And Eminem is definitley the closest person to a new version of michael jackson. it atleast seems that way in america.
