I got a call from a scammer. I told them " Please hold on a second, I have someone on my other phone." Then I said "Pierogi, it's the scammers again, you got this?" and the person hung up on me. I guess the name PIEROGI scares them, even if I wasn't really talking to Pierogi on the phone. thanks for all the team that is helping and saving people from being scammed. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I have said it many times that I have been asking for a collab between literally every scambaiter who was there that day. The federal government should be backing you guys and funding you. The peoples call-center should be online 24 seven 365 days a year. They should have all of you in the call-center training new recruits and expanding to hundreds if not thousands of people working there destroying the scammers across the world.

if the indian government wants their people to scam people abroad, they can and will allow them to do that. unless a country secrectly fights against scammers, doing it publicly would just raise tensions. for example, regardless of all the mess the chinese goverment does, other countries still try to keep the tensions low, even if they would otherwise have the full right to raise them. best option still remains for people to be educated and not fall for these scams. these indian examples are classic, but scammers exist everywhere, even in your own country, and you can't expect to stop them all

@@AnataBakka yes but I’m talking about the US government funding the peoples call-center or creating something similar to let white hackers in this country destroy and take down the call centers in India and any other country around the world that do this kind of stuff. Including any scammers in the United States or elsewhere. I’m sure that Russian hackers and Chinese hackers are supported by their government in some offhanded way to do as much damage as possible. That does not mean that the American government could not support scam busters to help stop and if not Eliminate or at least temporarily disable scammers around the world.

@@mike10275 yea, but that's the "raise tension" thing. just because you can beat the bad guy in another country, doesn't necessarily mean you should in this world. even more so since the beating involves hacking their company, which is an illegal way of gathering information, and iirc the US has some rules around illegal gathered information being invalid in court, even though they usually disregard this when it's for their benefit (see silk road founder)

The criminals are not the victims. The victims are the victims. The criminals deserve what they get. Scam busters are only disrupting them and when they hack into their systems they’re just reading files and saving vulnerable people millions of dollars a year. Yet if you want to go ahead and believe that scammers should be left alone to scam. Well I don’t want to hear it when someone you know gets scammed and destroyed. Too many lives have been destroyed already by the scammers. I don’t care if the earth opens up and swallows them up.

Of course he will be. And the cheerful tone that this video proceeds with is disturbing. It's one thing to give guys to police and another to feed them to suspected criminals who promise bloodbaths. Where's a pinned comment with "we could or couldn't reach him"? I care about that a million times more than a fucking NordVPN or whatever. It was completely in their power to at least flat out say "he's not a mole at all", and instead they played cats and mice and said "I've got more", which is virtually admitting Ethan's "involvement", just not saying it. Which is 100% fucked up in my book. But of course the rest of the video is giving themselves a pat on the back. I love the effort _overall_. But absolutely not this part. It's horrific.

When I worked for a credit union fraud team I was constantly told by the management NOT to try and educate people on fraud. Banks don't want people to know how many calls they're getting from scammers on a daily basis, they don't want to cause a panic.
