Trim Out Paint Correction On A Dakar Yellow BMW E36 M3

Polishing one of the best colours BMW has ever produced on one of if not the best chassis in existence? Sounds good to me. In this video I remove all the trims from the BMW E36 M3 and perform a paint correction using V-Cut and V-Polish from our Brazilian friends at Vonixx. The car has a mixture of single stage paint, some base coat clear, as well as some fresh paint which I sanded. The Vonixx products handled everything with ease and created a really even finish throughout the car despite the inconsistencies. I am really happy with how this is looking and can't wait to restore all the trims and get them back on the car. Restored plastic over polished paint is a beautiful thing. Coming soon. Yessir! Dakar 1 was single stage and Dakar 2 was basecoat/clear. I believe 1994 was around the cut off for this. So when you see an early model e36 in Dakar it’s typically single stage. But thank you man! Lots of fun

Pro Tip…Never polish pain while wearing a watch, rings, or bracelets. As to not inadvertently scratch the paint. Can you imagine having that conversation with a customer? Nice work though!!!
