Hi Chamion. How would you adjust this recipe for coconut fudge? Please direct me to the video if I missed it. Thanks.
@FoodByChamionWilliams5 жыл бұрын
TheMizblu hi sure on this demo I didn’t used coconut milk. But if you’re a Trinidadian you can use 1 packet of powdered coconut milk.....powder because it’s not going to mess with the consistency of your fudge mix it with 1/4 cup of water no more than that! Also some brands of the coconut powdered milk is really potent so I prefer it for use in fudge & certain desserts. Follow all the steps I took in the demo only different step you’re going to take is the addition of your coconut milk add it when you add the sweeten condensed milk. Thank you for watching & your comment 🙂

I tried your recipe! Was really simple. However I found it not stiff enough like typical fudge. Actually it was just as yours came out which was great for me but can you tell me what I can do to get it really hard? What did I do wrong?
@FoodByChamionWilliams5 жыл бұрын
TheMizblu hi thank you for your feedback........mixing the fudge should get it more firm like mixing it for a longer period of time when you take it off the stove/range 🙂

Hi sure
@emjay42173 жыл бұрын
@@FoodByChamionWilliams my fudge falls apart when I cut it, what causes that? I also see that you use condensed milk only but is it wrong to use condensed and evaporated on the fudge?
@FoodByChamionWilliams3 жыл бұрын
@@emjay4217 ok that means it’s drying or firm a bit to much before you put it in the dish so try beating or mixing it less like you don’t really want that your entire batch of fudge mixture looking like fine bread crumbs you want it to still be of a consistency where it’s sort of like a firm toffee not as glossy looking as toffee but that consistency then get it into a dish that’s the perfect size for the ratio of fudge if not & the dish is to wide or deep your fudge will be to flat in width now to answer your question about using both types of milk I don’t use both I use only condensed milk however there’s a lot of recipes that calls for both or some recipes calls for evaporated milk only or condensed milk only try sticking to the one milk recipes just to see if your final product is where you need it to be I hope my answers helps.................

To be honest all I am thinking is diabetes . Condensed milkI is already very sweet. Plus 1cup sugar????? Why so much sugar ma'am?
@FoodByChamionWilliams3 жыл бұрын
Sammy Lee hi diabetes??? Listen it will be very hard for someone to get diabetes from having a piece of fudge there’s a lot of factors that contributes to diabetes that have absolutely nothing to do with the use of sugar take this from someone that dealt with it personally now to answer your question the use of the sugar is necessary for the making of fudge using this recipe as with most desserts steps & measured ingredients must be followed to a T for a favorable outcome or final product I hope this helps you be blessed
