I counted 8 baddies. The problem with Medellin is you have to pillage and crawl through a lot of people to get to the baddies. Cartagena is less congested but might have 5-6 baddies versus the 8 on this video. It’s a trade off. Colombia is definitely where it’s at though. I’ve been to CTG, and I’ll do a 2nd visit. I’ll go to Medellin and Bogota, then Copacabana Brazil after.

Its nothing like in the Narcos tv show. Crime is still a problem but there is a lot of police in the tourist areas and you should have no problems as long as you follow simple safety precautions like no jewellery, using Uber at night, staying in the tourist areas and watching your drink at all times both when you are out and at your place (if you have someone over). Unfortunately druggings using scopolamine happens alot here.
