As an aviation buff myself, last year I flew Atlantic round trip from Keflavik to Vagar. I was thrilled to be able to do so, but both flights disappointed me. The crew was cold and distant, and all they seemed to do was serve just too much alcohol. Both the flight crew and the ground representatives in Vagar act like they couldn't be bothered. Furthermore, their inter-island helicopter service in the Faroe themselves is terrible. You cannot fly roundtrip the same day. Again, I was so looking forward to my Atlantic Airways experience, but unfortunately it was terribly disappointing.
