The fact that trish doesn’t understand that if she says “I’m down for anything” that doesn’t mean the guy can sexually assault her and do bodily harm to her. Poor trish😭

By “predatory relationship” I don’t think Trisha means sexually but that there is a power difference since he is older and therefore Charlie can be manipulated easily since she has less life experience

@damystery123
@damystery123 4 жыл бұрын
@kristi kirk I think a big difference is companies will have a contract for deals like that and it’s generally a purely professional relationship. It’s different when James is calling Charli his best friend and if they hang out outside of collabs. I’m not saying you can’t be friends with someone you work with but it makes things more complicated especially with Charli being a minor. Sorry to butt in when I wasn’t involved in the conversation, just thought I’d throw this point out.

@@The_Google_User It literally is a slur. It didn’t start out as a slur because it was used to describe somebody that is “mentally retarded.” But that wasn’t supposed to be negative, but people twist and turn it into that way. Think about being labeled as something and everyone uses it to describe something very negative and hurtful. Many people with autism or down syndrome will beg you not to say these words since it hurts their image and is very ableist. Don’t be a brat just because your brain can’t understand the basic concept that everyone deserves respect until they don’t. You seem like your moral development is at a level 1. Small children by the age of seven are able to get to level 2, aka the conventional level. Basically what I am saying is to grow up. I’m sure since you’re so smart you can think of better words to use, hmmmm.

i agree with the comment above me. my best friend is a childhood friend who is 22, i’m 17. i’m friends with one of her friends, and then other than that all my friends are in high school. but with james and charli, i assume they met in the last year or two. so yeah it’s kinda odd. that’s sorta the culture with the internet though, like shane dawson was hanging out with twaimz and lia marie johnson when they were young and it was just weird, and obviously this example is a bit different since we know how weird shane was with kids and i think the age gaps are larger. anyway, i think it’s just for fame and relevancy, but it’s odd.

Yes but she has also said that she doesn’t remember a lot of the traumatic things that have happened to her, so she never knows if it really happened, if it was a dream, if she consented to a specific type of sexual act or not, if she was tripping because of the drugs she was on... also I think at the time she didn’t think it was trauma but as she got older she realised how f***ed up certain events were and now she sees things in a different light, therefore she tells the story from a different perspective. You feel me?
@uknowho9074

It could be that she changes the story from negative to positive depending on who she’s talking to. It’s really disappointing as a black woman that Dixie, (a white girl), thought it was a “clap back” to Trisha, (a white woman), to dance to an audio of Trisha saying the word “nigga” with a huge smile on her face, and tagged the black young teen girl creator of the dance. Like the point that Dixie was trying to make was that Trisha used the word, but it was completely done wrong. It’s just really offensive to do that because their platform is mostly young kids who now saw this white girl smiling,dancing to the word “nigga”, and using it to attack another white person.
@kgomes1126

Agreed and as another black woman it’s annoying that back in June in the height of BLM all the stuff that James Charles said was brought to light and just now people want to cancel her because a white person said it. The weaponizing of racism that white people are doing is super annoying.

the fact that they have different opinions and different views on things and yet they still are civil and mature with each other, they can have conversations without bashing each other or going for each others throats. Also, it’s surprising to see Trish so accepting of being wrong sometimes, like she doesn’t try and fight back she’s just like “Yeah I was wrong, lets keep talking” basically. Love it.

It’s kind of funny to me that people haven’t came around with just how much she exposed celebrities in the past. I don’t know if she’s deleted the videos or people are more concerned with her saying the N word in a rap song 🤷🏼‍♀️ But she has come HARD for some folks, especially Anthony Michael Hall. Hell, in the last Frenemies she talked about getting paid to sleep with a comedian right before her and Moses started dating. I think people just didn’t notice what she said because so many other things were being said at that time.
