Those tanks will equalize. If you're going to be on any slopes you need to keep a good bit of fuel in it, or install some cut off valves on one tank. Some trucks come with valves on one tank. I wish my dozer had automatic, LOL I seen a video you can calibrate the dozer by measuring the cutting edge wear, and maybe it was grouser height and enter it into the computer somehow I think, don't fully remember.
@tristardiggin
@tristardiggin Жыл бұрын
Lucas is going to fix it so I just use one tank. To simplify things and avoid this problem. 1 tank of fuel will last me a long time. I have new corner cutting edge and going to flip the middle section and then figure out how to calibrate it. It does factor in grouser height too. Thanks

My go to trick for re priming a Diesel engine that has got air is to use gasoline on a rag. Some will pull the fumes through the filter and some you will have to remove the filter but it’s easy to get them to run on gas fumes. Gas is not harsh like starting fluid, Just don’t let it take the rag from you.

That fitting is called a compu-check fitting. It’s supposed to be used with a fuel supply with pressure to prim the system. You can use a two gallon spray can with fuel in it to prime the system.

You can make your own from a two gallon sprayer and a cut off valve from the hardware store. Attach the compu-check,pump up the sprayer,turn the valve on let it run for a min or two.start the engine let it run for a min and cut your valve off and unhook the fitting and your done. Just watch the fuel level in the sprayer to not let it get to low.

Is that a DT466 in the Anchor? I have a 2000 model International and had a weird fuel problem too. Mine was pulling fuel from the right tank and returning to the left tank. The left tank was constantly full, but I almost ran out of fuel because the right one was empty. Dirt daubers plugged up the vent tube on both tanks and the gravity return system wouldn't work properly. I cleaned the vent tubes and fixed it. It seems like some days are cursed from beginning to end. Lol. Great video and message.
