I can relate to this. Back in 2010 I was DJing on the weekends, working 40 hrs a week at my job, planning a wedding, enrolled in a Masters program taking class in the evenings,.... And hitting MMA routine.....Needless to say, my wedding fell apart, I almost failed school and I needed to take a long break.......

burnout and mental health episodes are usually quite similar, and generally both occur during periods of intense stress. i have had 3 burnouts in my life, all were started by poor sleeping habits, poor eating, and lack of social connection. it sounds so stupid but the 3 basic things, eat, diet, sleep, are so freaking important. i hope i learned by the third one.

@timtaylor95906 жыл бұрын
hey coach it's called chronic fatigue. i suffer from the same thing because i over worked myself and all the while wasnt making good life choices. it effects me everyday and really hurts my cardio i also had to alter my diet alot. i have to being very careful with what i do and how i manage my stress and recovery. joe rogan had a guest on his show who shared his story with the same sickness, some ppl will be bed ridden for months and it takes a very long time to recover where theyll never be the same, it's also easy to relapse.
@JOEY_TREN2 жыл бұрын
I just started experiencing this. how did you recover?
@timtaylor95902 жыл бұрын
@@JOEY_TREN first i woud check out the guy who talks about it on joe rogans pod. basically its entire life changing process. the most important thing is sleep and stress management, next is diet. some ppl have to quit their jobs, some days you will be stuck in bed, thats the hardest part for me was feeling like i was alone and helpless. its also important to have a strong support system like freinds and family. then you need to figure out what foods to avoid, usually its caffine, alcohol, and sugary or fatty processed foods, stick to whole foods. next focus on increasing your stress tolerance but only when you feel like youre making progress, take it slow and try to manage expectations. do things like walking, yoga, hot cold therepy, fasting, and really light cardio. its also a good idea to seek medical advice although its tough to find a doctor who knows what to do.
@JOEY_TREN2 жыл бұрын
@@timtaylor9590 thanks for the advice. yeah for me in the past couple months it's totally made me housebound unfortunately. I was working out and playing basketball 7 days a week now I'm trying to recoup. hard to look at screens and extremely exhausted all the time.

I'm 20 years old, study economics and want to be a fighter at the same time. I train mma, muay thai, bjj and I compete in all of these arts, as an amatuer middleweight. I also lift weights for explosive power sometimes and up to fights and competitions, I try to run 2 times a week. Its just difficult when you have school you need to focus on, because I cannot be perfect in both, even if I want to. I have to suck a little bit in school to be a good fighter, or I have to be a fighter with bad results to be good in school. I feel like I have 2 full time jobs, which is nearly impossible. But I really try. But recently I have had stomach pains. I have to go to the toilet constantly, and I am shitting 4-5 times a day. I have a very hard time falling asleep. I'm constantly worried about stuff, almost anxious. Right now i'm sick with a cold, have headache and my eyes hurt when I look at light. I am very confused all the time and my friends are saying I look high on drugs, even when i am just tired.

I would add that it depends on what your studying in university. If you’re studying in a stem field or medical, science, mathematics....it’s harder to train. If your studying humanities subjects like sociology, psychology, etc...you don’t have to study in those classes. A lot of the time everything you need is in the lecture if you stay awake. If you’re a biology major you will HAVE to study extra after class.
