Honestly you all and Luke Holloway from Raw combat Internation are my favorite martial arts and combatives channels on KZbin.

even so he helped me out. I was rolling with my pal at the dojo and in one of his videos he showed a technique where you drive your elbow into the nerve points on their leg. I was put in a choke (he was under me and wrapped his legs around me.) so i drove my elbow into I think it's the femoral nerve? (It's on the inside of your leg near the knee) he let go long enough for me to tuck my chin, grab a finger and roll (turn my head away from the arm choking me) plus Silat, Jujitsu, boxing arts (Thai, western, Chinese), wrestling are like my top favorites. but I like all martial arts tbh (even karate mcdojos, as long as they teach virtues)

Shame about luke being a fraud

It looks like luke deleted the video where he was showing an escape from a seated rear naked with an ankle lock

Brutal. But the movements looked pretty natural....you're covering up and ducking.....the break comes at the end. Not very far away from basic gross motor movement, so the body can remember. Excellent instruction.
@tritacacademy5 жыл бұрын
That's how we look at it! The movements should be natural and instinctual without years of training.

Nice flow, but never a fan crossing the opponent centre line. All it takes is 1 inch blade an the technique will fall apart.
@tritacacademy7 жыл бұрын
Obviously this is a "Unarmed Flow". No where do we reference that one person has a knife. Nor after the first punch is landed does the flow "allow" someone to get to a knife or other concealed weapon. It's not easy to pull a blade or draw a gun when you're getting elbowed in the face. But yes, we understand and train in weapons-based combatives. Our TRITAC-Armed program focuses on Stick, Knife and Handgun. We are not ignorant to the strong possibility that someone might have a weapon. You can see what we're talking about here: tritacmartialarts.com

are you guys affiliated with defence lab?
@tritacacademy7 жыл бұрын
sean. thompson Hi Sean, no we are not, but John and Mike (guys in the video) both have Black belts in Keysi Fighting Method and Defence Lab. TRITAC is influenced by DL and Keysi, but definitely not limited in their approach.

can ji jutsu be used on animals for self defence such as bear,dog
@tritacacademy7 жыл бұрын
This is a hard question for us to answer. We would never want to hurt a dog or wild animal (not referring to hunting); and I think Jiu-Jitsu or Hand-to-Hand-Combat vs a wild animal is not the "right tool". Now if a Bear or "attack dog" does attack you, that is considered "deadly force". I suggest you use whatever tool or weapon you have available to defend yourself and survive. Note: I am not expert on animal self-defense, in fact, the topic bothers me.
@namitarane32787 жыл бұрын
Soul Fighters Academy you can actually wrestle with a bear,check this video on youtube,khabib nurgamedov wrestling with bear,yeah but never underestimate the ground game of bear

Well you certainly take constructive criticism well...then you insult the guy. Completely third party guy here...jeez, I thought it was a fair point, and it wasn't really that insulting. In re-reading the guys comment...wow, he said nothing personal to you and then you immediately came back with a personal insult. How is that professional? If your skin is that thin, you might want to reconsider why you are doing what you are doing (whatever that may be in life). Cool system and all, but dang, it makes me want to go see what the defence lab guys are doing...again, that wasn't an insult. It was an illustration. That's what people are going to think when they read your post. I don't want it to be like tha, bro... all I'm suggesting is maybe you delete your comment and I'll delete this long rambling diatribe...or whatever it is. Now, Im all against censorship (especially H3Re), so I'd never try to tell you what to do but, bottom line, it's just "bad optics" as the kids like to say.
