this bike is arguably the coolest in all of the bonneville's line up especially with that gold line edition. The trade off is it's highly impractical - no pillion, storage is fairly limited, I also hear it's uncomfortable in the long run because of the seat. Having said that i'd still get it, it's the ultimate selfish man's bike.

Had a bobber at work, boss’s motorcycle which he never rode. Every evening to the tea shop and back, was literally riding on a wave of torque .. And I am happy that’s all I did with it and not take it any longer. Loved the engine, tbh it handled way better than what I was expecting and after a few more rides, I was seriously pushing the machine..Once you get used to it, that torque is addictive..

Great review mate! I just sold mine. Absolutely gorgeous looking bike. But with 190cm and 115-120 kilograms it was just to small for me. Whenever I could see myself in a store window because of the reflection I thought, awesome motorcycle but I look like a circus bear on a tricycle. Now I switched over to a Triumph Rocket Roadster :) This now feels much more comfortable for my height and weight. If the Bobber were available in an XL version, I would never give it away. 2:56 the voice changes to the real original voice briefly. Fantastic video. I bought my 2022 Triumph Bobber regular edition, Cordovan Red color and just love it. Another dealer had the Goldline, but, it looked too bright and flashy for my taste. But, I agree that the Goldline has a bit of more torque and accessories and hand-paint job, that makes it unique.

Just bought this and it sits next to my 765rs. Took it around a few mountain rides here in my area(CA) . This thing is a surprising little beast. I am a short dude so the fact the bike is smaller is no biggie for me. I think this bobber is unique. Its not a cruiser, but is still super comfy. Its not a sport bike but let me tell you this thing can rip on some faster twisties. I feel like its pretty okay at everything, but the looks for me are the knock out thing, followed by the torque and sound. Def a bike that you need to ride to really understand. Plus you can do some pretty crazy stuff with it (Check out Thornton 100). You can make it a cool oldschool ride around town bike with back storage. Think like 1950's, or go super hard and do the sportbike front conversion with 4 piston upgraded brakes. Agree on the seat. Its find but after about an hour good god its not great lol. Some people do complain about the suspension and while its not even close to my 765rs its not that bad. Great video btw!

Agree with all your analysis. I got a speedy and swapped for a smaller plate. No trouble so far. Was chatting to a chap a a bike cafe, we both noted the rather grabby nature of the twins torque at slow speed. Means you need to slip/ride the clutch a bit. Great property you have there…do you miss civilisation at all?

I wish they made a lighter, 900cc version of this bike. That would make it more affordable (and therefore a more justifiable purchase) and suitable for what it's most appropriate for: riding around the city in style.

Yes I actually think it would be better for it too 👍🏼

Good idea! It would not have to be a 251 kg bike it could be a 180 kg bike, too...

A big flappy number plate can cause vibration that only has to synchronize with movement orviration of another part and that can cause alot of issues ie parts falling off your bike or cracking.

Great review and even greater beard! This is my absolute dream bike, but I'm a skinny 5'5" 61kg guy, so I'm kind of aftraid I won't be able to handle the weight and power it comes with. I mean I'm not weak per se, but I sure as hell am not the (no offense) mountain you are... sir. Even got a Triumph dealership near me in Germany, but I'll probably ride my puny Online VT125 for a few more months, maybe do some lifting at the gym, and hopefully gonna be ready for this beautiful machine!

You can totally handle a bike like this. I have a 2019 Boneville Bobber Black. I'm 5'10", 130lbs, so we're nearly the same weight. I was also really worried about the size of the bike prior to getting it, but I have had no problems. The Boneville Bobber sit pretty low to the ground so you shouldn't have any issues with putting your feet down. You should take one for a test ride if you like the bike.

Absolutely stunning machine. Lovely day in paradise too. The short suspension travel is a little bit of an issue. The sales guy in the shop referred to the potholes as chiropractic adjustments with a grin on his face. I must be getting soft in my old age but for that reason mostly, a regretful no. But hey, what a looker..

It's a bloody good looking bike but I can't help thinking that paint would look better on the Speedmaster. Don't get me wrong I could look at that for hours but it'd be even better on its stablemate. Also how do Triumph still get such a good exhaust noise in this day and age?
@MrDarcy-OlMan2 жыл бұрын
Certainly. Always hard with the multiple paint finishes on different models! 👍🏼👍🏼

I've always liked the Bobber, I'd change the pipes, put a tuner on it, floorboards & maybe mini apes. Another great review gentlemen 👍👍
