What about Rush? They are from Canadia also! I think that Rik would agree with me on that one. Yet, I agree that Triumph is a phenomenal trio! No doubt on that! Cheers Mate! Take off Hoser!

My favorite rock band ever. Saw them 3 times in the 80's at Reunion Arena in Dallas. Saw Rik in Houston in 2009 playing acoustic.

Cool pics from Triumph's heyday. Loved the one at the Alamo. Triumph didn't get disillusioned by the Music business. Such an awesome band!

Some really fantastic photos of Rik in there! At 1:14-- Gorgeous!! My heart stopped! Thanks so much for putting this together, I loved it! Wish Triumph would get back together, but, something really big would have to lure them, so, in the mean time, I am just really glad that Rik still tours, and sounds so great! He looks great too! ;-) And that sense of humor! Still the total killer package, that man! ;-)

I've always felt that the Canadian bands far surpassed the American bands for the most part. Many of these wonderful groups are vastly underrated while many bands here in the US are ridiculously overrated.

Is there something special about this song? (apart from the obvious). When I was converting my vinyl, then CDs to digital, this was one of the last songs I got (but not for trying). When the album came out on Itunes, the eponymous song was not among the other songs. (Nuts, I know! Did they read the jacket?). Album credits Emmet as the writer, so I can't believe its a legal rights issue, but the guys did finally buy back their catalog from MCA. Was this one caught in the middle? It was years before I could find it as a (legit) digital file.

Alive and well. Gil Moore continues to own and operate the Metal Works studio in Ontario, and has done really well with that. Mike spends a lot of time in Jamaica, and has delved into online businesses, as I understand.

btw, Mister Flash. the name of the song is Just A Game. Not, Just Game. can you fix it? or is it a copyright thing?

Got Hair? you might be a Triumph fan. Triumph - the other best 3 man band in the world. Emmet/Lifeson. I love Alex, but Rick can really belt out a tune, as well as wielding the 'axe'. I've played Triumph's game since 1978. with more albums Triumph would've passed Rush into #1 all time. imho.
