Despite coming from a spiritually rich family, he grew up financially poor. At 19, he faced homelessness and contemplated suicide. Realizing he needed to take responsibility and make positive choices, he rebuilt his life and relationships.
Starting as a full-time pastor at 22, he caught Dave Ramsey's attention with his "money night" for youth. This led to a job with Dave Ramsey, where he promoted debt-free living. Dave's approach contrasts with Ryan's risk-friendly approach; Anthony values financial freedom and ownership.
Discussing marriage, Anthony believes those happy while single stay happy when married. Sabbaticals are vital for goal setting and seeking inspiration from God. Solitude and reflection help us honestly evaluate ourselves and grow.
Ryan uses "think time" journaling to set ambitious goals. Relationships, romantic or professional, demand introspection. Equally yoked partnerships are crucial, asking God for wisdom and knowledge.
Actions should align with beliefs and priorities. Entrepreneurs sometimes neglect family for business, leading to divorce. Anthony values family, preparing for his future wife and children's needs. Sacrificing to meet their love languages is essential.
Anthony's mother's hard work inspired his commitment to quality family time. His mission is to empower youth, especially minorities, in building wealth. Dave Ramsey's generosity and trust in leaders left a mark on Anthony's approach.
Generosity and trust are essential traits, both in leadership and life. These insights exemplify Anthony's inspiring journey and commitment to helping others achieve financial success and personal fulfillment.

Men REALLY NEED to listen to their marriage advice! It is so common for men (even good men) to get too caught up with work… It takes over their mind to the point they can’t have a 10 minute conversation with their wife at the end of the day…We women marry men to BE WITH our man… We love you, give us you! When you take away your attention, that is a big reason why we nag and get bitchy at small random stuff… It’s misplaced anger from being neglected! Watch out, it’s a silent killer.

It really matters. We had an ethics situation at my husband’s job, and he chose integrity. We had no debt, so not having a job was an issue, but it was not a complete crisis - he just did some construction in the in between and we ended up better financially as we knew how to not spend. If we would have been saddled in debt, choosing integrity would have been much much more difficult.

There are so many kids out there who believe they have no choices in life, that they have no real future financial wise. In many cases that’s a generational thing. They don’t see themselves as the kind of person that has any financial future, no chance at all to have wealth. It’s not a race thing, these kids are of all colors. Generally inner city, borderline inner city kids. Both boys and girls. It’s sad that they feel stuck.

I like some of Dave's advice but do have cards I pay off and I do like the points. Just used 50 to buy 2 presents while leaving my savings alone. I don't understand though after paying off my mortgage few years ago, my credit score is still 850, sometimes drops to 840. Dave always says it is based on debt but if I pay off cards, sometimes making more than one payment a month, it seems to go up. I like having it, don't want extra paperwork etc but he said it would disappear. I guess if you only use cash

@@patricksimon8943 That's good to know. I don't mind having a credit score and it helped my son with a more seamless first mortgage. Dave is speaking to people who cannot control their spending. If you have the discipline to pay off your credit cards every month, you're fine. He has said that in person and on his show. However, he has said that he doesn't promote using credit cards because 90-95% of his listeners struggle with tracking their credit card expenses and paying the card off on time. At the same time, you're not going to get rich by using a credit card either. The perks are only beneficial if you're not increasing your balance.
@deb9806

Getting 2% cash back is nice, but it’s not gonna make you a millionaire. In fact, you are an example of why cards offer points, “you like them,” and a lot of people spend more than they would otherwise to attain more points.

For me - it is just weird the way they talk about faith. You have to be a believer to work with someone, etc. Just cultural differences I guess. In my part of Pennsylvania, people have guns, but don't make a big deal about it like Texas.... The same goes for religion. Some go to church, others don't. We are also surrounded by extremely conservative Amish & Mennonite populations, who obviously have a strong faith. Still - we just live life and don't put so much effort on surrounding ourselves with godly people. Host keeps acting like non-Christians can't make good decisions. Sleeping with random women who DM you is not a faith thing - it is a self respect thing.

@joshuaarseneau5891
@joshuaarseneau5891 9 ай бұрын
So the goal is not to be rich. The goal is to build wealth and have financial peace. Wealth can be built simply over a period of time. Once your assets profit you more then your living expenses you are wealthy. Avoiding debt, saving and investing is simple and boring unfortunately. Sign up for financial peace university online it’s like $99 and follow the baby steps. It took me three years but now me and my wife are debt free. We live off one income and save, invest and give off the second. Once you have no debt and 3 to 6 months expenses saved there is not much you cannot do. Once our investment/assets start to equal are living expenses we will retire. That’s not hard to do if you have no debt but it takes a lot of discipline and a partner with shared values. Good luck

This video proves one of many things to me: These guys don't know a stitch of sound Biblical doctrine, since they follow or have followed the likes of T.D. Jake's, and Creflo Dollar, who are a part of the Carismatic movement, which is filled with heretics. D. Ramsey teaches hersesy as well. He uses these life events and his youth, style and charisma to sell and promote people and items that are more lucrative for him than the people who buy into what he's pushing or selling. Tons of women out in the world looking for a man with money only to claim half that they never worked for. The brother is smart in staying single until he meets someone who is worthy to be his wife. A lot of successful black men are not jumping into marriage. They know the risk of losing it all in a divorce. There is nothing wrong with waiting until they see someone who is worthy of them. @@dec1slh Ryan called Anthony a pastor 11 minutes in to the interview. This interview is about his financial success and how he is helping other get there. That is not the issue. The issue is that this man is present as a pastor figure. By biblical definition he doesn’t qualify to be call a pastor. In doing so you are presenting a distorted figure of what a pastor is according to Scripture. Plus, all the people he is associated with that calls themselves pastor are wolf’s in sheep’s clothing. What these man preach is the prosperity gospel. Which is no gospel at all. They have high jack all biblical terms and doctrines and have perverse, twisting and distorted the Holy Bible as they see fit. Man of this kind of belief have a place in hell.I am not against educating people to become financially set, but I am strongly against people who consciously or unconsciously present themselves as some type of Chruch figure(Christian, pastor, elder, Apostle, prophet) when they clearly are not. This is not according to me but according to the Bible. If you read your Bible you would know and would have agree with me. I’ll go to the extent to say that even Ryan is not qualify to be called a pastor. Pastors uphold the Doctrines of the Bible. The prosperity gospel is a satanic teaching, because it teaches that God wants to make you rich and have abundance. That if you are poor that’s a curse. That you can have you best life now. This couldn’t be further from the truth. If that was the case all the Apostle in the Bible would have been millionaires. God calls us to live in conformity to His will. The Christian life according to the Bible is not about material accumulation. It’s about growing in Holiness. This means dying to self by going to war with our sinful nature, the sinful nature that remains once we where born again my the Spirit of God through repentance and faith in Christ . This life is hard pressed by the World and the sinful nature,believers carry this duty until their death to this immoral body. My friend your spiritual state is shown by your statement “it doesn’t really matter “ it’s a state of blindness in your heart of the danger before you. The danger of being deceived or worse, that you’re already deceived.
