Thanks for this vid, I now feel confident on doing this myself! A couple quick questions: 1) When dropping the bottom bearing, does anything need to support or raise the front wheel or can it be done using centre or paddock stands only? 2) Is copper grease okay to use for the bearings?

Charlie Eustace Thanks for the comment! If I remember rightly I weighed down the back wheel on the centre stand lifting the front slightly allowing the forks to drop a little to get to the bearings!! And as for copper grease! No I’d use general purpose grease! Copper grease for things that don’t move normal grease for things that do!

What torque setting was the stem nut?
