I think you have to go through a teaching sequence for the gear indicator to work .... but good effort. Shame the bracket isnt a perfect match to the binnacle curve, but an extra layer of tape at the end will sort that out.

Congratulations for the subs!! Hey you no how to adjust the headlights on the Sprint? I'm a new owner. And headlights are aimed too high. Can't seem to find any info on it. There doesn't seem to be an adjustment for them . If you have any info on this subject, it would be very appreciated. I have feeling I am going to have to pull the whole front apart and shim my headlights. Thank you for your time, and Congratulations.

Thanks for the video, it's very interesting and informative. It is better to remove the filter without gloves, or with rubber gloves. Gloves will get wet anyway, and so will your hands. Wipe your hands and that's it. And now I have to throw away gloves and wipe my hands ). But it is good to screw the filter in gloves as you have, you can screw it with less force as it is necessary, and if your hand breaks off, you will not scratch your hands as without gloves. And after you have tightened the filter, it is necessary to turn it back by 5-10 degrees. It is necessary for the rubber gasket to straighten. And in general do not pay attention, I have nothing to do and write everywhere comments )). Nice bike you have, I have the same. Oil manufacturers always hide or write in very small letters on canisters that JASO MA2 is API SL. If you read the characteristics of API SL oil, they are slightly superior to Motul 5100. I have been pouring car engine oil into my motorbikes for 7 years now, nothing slips, nothing happens. I don't want to overpay for the 4T label on the canister. Cars have 4T motors on them too). But it's a personal matter. There will be no winners in this argument except the oil manufacturers. :)

Side note: (the centre caps) drive side is a bung with o rings, straight pull may require some leverage to get it started. Wheel side is on a screw thread, i use a strap wrench to start it off, then knock in to release the core from the axle, continue to unscrew by hand, reach around through the axle from the drive side for extra friction if required 😉

I once had a garage over tighten my oil filter on my Sprint. Had to lay the bike on its side with the help of a couple of biker friends and we had great fun ripping the filter apart until we managed to get it off. It was so tight it was like they welded it to the engine block. That said, I've never taken it back there and let their monkeys loose on my bike again.

When putting it back together, do you grease inside the hub carrier ? Is this how the chain adjusts? Brilliant video by the way 👍🏻
@se11459
@se11459 4 ай бұрын
I would like to know the answer to this also. I’m guessing once everything is clean and dry that if you can slide it back in fairly easily and turn it with the tool with no grease on then no grease is needed? Like with regular chain blocks. But what about water over time?
