Triumph T120 Upgrades

I completed the required upgrades for my upcoming solo/ break-in journey on my new Bonneville. The trip is a complete journey of North Americas outer boundaries.

That's Triumphs touring screen. Still too much wind noise.

Sounds like a great idea that other one doesn’t look like it would hold much. Saddlebags look nice too. Man you really did some nice upgrades. Do you still have your Harley?

No, it sold a couple of days ago. Last one as I had an older fatboy too. That sold earlier. Mainly going to adventure ride for a few years...so maybe back to a Harley in a few years...smaller one though.

My only question about a custom trunk like that - how much weight and would it impact center of gravity too much? those bags look huge - and as detachable luggage - perfect for hotels.

The weight concern is legit. I'm more concerned that the bracketing holds...looking at it right now...very solid. I'll probably go much much lighter with fuel bottles...probably 1 litre each. Should be good there. Great points.

The Triumph saddlebags are overly expensive and poorly built! They are limited to 3 kg of weight, can't be secured to the racks and can't be locked! They are NOT waterproof! Triumph will be happy to sell you plastic [bags] covers for $35 each!

You said just what I was going to say. I just yesterday watched a video from a lad in the UK talking in length about these bags and he was pissed about how insufficient they really are. Especailly that they were not waterproof and those stupid snaps that can't be closed unless you hold them from behind.
