What a picturesque run out Ian …..fantastic scenery. Hopefully do this route next year. Bikes probably only get a wee run out now, if a decent day, with heated grips on. Enjoy your runs on the Classic. Mark.

I know a while ago you fitted a new cam to your royal Enfield. I have one ordered but my question is do you feel the job could be done without the special tool. By the way I love clean Coe.

For a bike mechanic or someone with plenty of experience working on bike engines, then it’s probably possible to fit the new camshaft without the special tools. But for the small extra cost of the tools and gasket it’s well worth using them to ensure that the cam timing is perfect. Hope you enjoyed my video 😋
