Enjoying the journey. Keep the vids coming. Mine took 18 months to get her roadworthy at my very casual progress rate, in my back yard, but with every second I've learned so much about these cars, and no regrets. If I had to do it all over again, I would !!! Just went for a nice sunny drive today in the '77 TR7. Going to watch part 3 next !!

Great video. I’ll be watching this series! Your rusty gas tank is a common problem. I’ve got two TR8s, right now I’m cleaning and de-rusting the tank on one. It was done over 20 years ago, so it’s due again.

Thanks! I was originally looking for a TR8, but the price of this one was so good I figured I could do a LS V8 swap. But then my daughter saw the flat interior and asked if we could build a car for her. So now the four banger stays!

I had a 1976 TR7 when I was in high school. I loved the car. Just watch the engine temp. Don't let it overheat.

Thanks for the tip! My daughter fell in love with the plaid interior and now wants to have it ready for prom!
