Your new album is awesome, heart touching and hot. It always makes fun to play your songs and cover them on the guitar and the drumset. It all started with ''Until the world goes cold''. It was more like heavy metal which isn't scream based. Back then, I hated screams. Then Breathe In The Flames showed me my talent in the guitar and I loved to play the solo, which has taken me over 3 months to master it. You showed me how it feels, to be proud of something. Later, my bestfriend showed me In Waves. In the beginning I did not like the screams, but after hearing it twice, I loved it. And then everything changed. My bestfriend and I screamed in the train In Waves. It felt like just we don't give a fuck. That is one of the reasons why I love metal. It kinda proves just to give a fuck, because not much people like it. My heart feels now full. I know where I wonna be and how. On thursday I saw you in Stuttgart. My first and best live experience....also of my favorite band. I had started learning In Waves on the drums back to 3 months. Now I can double bass up to 220bpm. Sooooooo I started listening to this song with my headphones on and couldn't help myself so i started singing the lyrics and my wife told me I was good so I kept singing... I think she was lying but whatever I kept singing for her and even got louder because I love your music. I can't say the same for her, I probably scared her beyond oblivion by now with my amazing singing. Thanks for the awesome music Trivium!

Ascendancy is one the most important albums of the mid 2000s metalcore era. Could you imagine if it got re-recorded with Alex in drums, and Matt’s improved singing and screaming like on TSAS? The only kicker is could he still sing comfortably along with Drop D guitars?
