The story behind this song makes me love it even more. It’s basically about Dr. J Robert Oppenheimer creating the atomic bomb but feeling remorse and sadness after seeing what it caused.

I discovered Trivium like a week ago, but I love the band so much so I bought a ticket to their show. I have already listened to all the albums, and I really like all their older albums butI think I love the new album the most. The Sin And The Sentence was the first song that I heard. You will probably hate me but I like it more than Shogun. But I love all the albums and Shogun is my second favorite. And Beyond Oblivion is such a banger, can't wait to see you guys live 🤘

Sooooooo I started listening to this song with my headphones on and couldn't help myself so i started singing the lyrics and my wife told me I was good so I kept singing... I think she was lying but whatever I kept singing for her and even got louder because I love your music. I can't say the same for her, I probably scared her beyond oblivion by now with my amazing singing. Thanks for the awesome music Trivium!

This whole album is amazing. I have listened to “The Catastrophist” dozens of times, and find myself returning to this song, “Beyond Oblivion” as well. Matt is simply at the top of his game. His re-trained voice is better than ever. Alex Bent is a beast on drums. And is there anyone, anywhere, that comes up with better riffs than these guys? Trivium is simply at a different level right now. The tightness of the sound, with just awesome drumming, and the crunch of the music! It’s just so good.

Trivium never fail to make a great song. I love pretty much all their songs and theres not that many bands that can do that.

You know the drummer nailed it when he gets so much focus in the music video. I can't remember the last time I've seen a drummer get so much screen time. LOL! Well deserved. He's the main reason I stay watching this video. TBH, the last time I've had a Trivium song on repeat like this was Pull Harder On the Strings of Your Martyr.

I saw these dudes at Impact in 2018 for the first time... 40 minutes is not enough time for Trivium. Incredible performance. The new drummer is amazing. This is by far, the best lineup IMO.
