In this video, I install the BC-Products Trolling Motor Servo Steering Kit on a 12V 36lb thrust Newport Vessels transom mount trolling motor. I had previously replaced the 5F/3R stock speed selector switch in the trolling motor with a Hobbywing Quicrun 880 ESC speed controller in the head section. The throttle and steering functions are controlled by a wireless HOTRC DS-600 joystick and receiver.

He Aksel, I have the same remote, is there any possible way to program or modify the remote so it doesn’t automatically return to centre? And I wonder if when cruise control is set that this would also operate the servo motor? As in, one click forwards increases speed one small step, if you set cruise and one click right or left it then holds that steering angle? Hope that makes sense?
