I saw the movie in theaters. I bought this movie on blu-ray the DAY it came out as well as a 40 inch LED tv, and a Samsung surround sound home theater system. I got home, hooked everything up, and watched this movie at damn near full volume. Incredible. Still watch the movie to this day. A sequel would ruin it.

Mas hablando propiamente de la música del filme del 2010, ésta estuvo a cargo de Duft Punk, franceses expertos en música electrónica muy inspirados en Vangelis, quienes trabajaron con Joseph Trapanese quien hizo la parte orquestal, y así componer los 22 temas de la banda sonora de la película, entre la que está Son of flynn, que en mi concepto es sublime, no solo por mezclar lo orquestal con lo electrónico, sino porque melodía y ritmo son de una estética tal, que en verdad se siente el viaje del hijo en búsqueda del padre en una sociedad distópica (cyberpunk) del futuro, entre la belleza de la vida y la estética misteriosa de la muerte, y lo que hay en ése más allá.
