In France you can't connect the pressure gauge like you did. We need to first vacuum the pressure gauge and the hoses, and then with a "refrigerant loose free" fitting, we connect it properly. By the way, no liquid is lost. To disconnect the gauge from the system, we force the compressor to pump down by turning the solenoid valve off, or by closing the high side valve. So the liquid in the hose is sucked through the suction line as well as the vapor. No refrigerant into the atmosphere.
@derrickenbuenosaires6 жыл бұрын
That sucks. Lots of work. You have to carry a vacuum pump to every unit you go to then. Not all units can be pumped down either. Here in Argentina though there are no regulations lol

I live in a senior housing complex. My apt is over the kitchen where the walkin cooler is located. I can hear and FEEL the cooler running 24/7 in my apt. It drives me crazy. Maintenance attempted to put more insulation around it....but resulted in no difference in the annoyance I experience in my apt. If they can send a man to the moon....why can't there be quiet refrigeration units ?????? My landlord stated that my only recourse is to move to another apt in the building which requires paying a $500. transfer fee. That's a lot of money for a senior to come up with.

Pleaase begging you got answer you or someone which know better that stuff.... Thanks in advance

Miss having fresh content from you, but wish you well in youtube retirement. Was that an optical delusion on the two fans running in opposite directions? Was the dual safety pressure switch something that was added on, perhaps when the R22-R404 conversion was done? It took me a while to fully appreciate your style of YT presentation, ... it is not for the instant gratification, attention deficit crowd. In any case, thanks for sharing and educating. Be well.

@deltafour12128 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't you first checked to make sure the coils were clean? Then check the mechanical systems to see if the fan motors & compressor motors were running? How do you know it wasn't a bad contactor coil or fan capacitor or fan pressure switch ? I was taught you never put gauges until you checked every thing else first.
@ScrewedUpEssayLatin6 жыл бұрын
deltafour1212 the man knows his stuff, if you have work in refrigeration you would know. It doesnt need to be in video. We know well to check basic as soon as we walk in. And plus you can notice both fans not spinning freely. Changing caps might work but most likely die in a few months
