I overseed with ryegrass during the winter season then the Bermuda grass takes over during mid spring to summer and early fall.

Nice video! Good info! Lawn looks amazing as always!We have had extended cool night temps, so even though my Bermuda is green, I still have bare spots. Starting tomorrow, the temps are in the 80's more consistently. Should start really moving at that time.

How often do you apply the ammonia sulfate during the fill in? My tucson bermuda is just not coming back so far this year. Also what is your water schedule?

I’ll use it as long as I need to fill in weak areas. Sometimes I’ll alternate it with a balanced fertilizer. I typically will spoon feed @0.5#N. every week early in the season and back off once I’m happy with the results.

Andrew Klein I just use it for the grow in. Once the Bermuda takes off, I have to put the brakes on and go for a slower release N.
