How's this for a Spider-Man show pitch? Spider-Man: Responsibilities! It may sound educational, but it breaks down Spidey's drive; he's responsible for protecting his home, saving his friends and family from trouble, teaching other spider-heroes like him; that's what makes him Amazing to me!

Yet again, my ideal Sinister Six would be: 1.Green Goblin (Doesn’t have to be the leader of the team). 2.Doctor Octopus. 3.Sandman. 4.Electro. 5.Rhino (can be fought before or after The Green Gobby if first fought. Your suggestion to have Spider-Man fight the Rhino at the beginning of the show is great). 6.Vulture. As for other stuff I would do: Make Black Cat a morally grey character or even outright villain that’s relatively benign that gradually becomes more heroic figure, to a certain point, Kraven and Mr. Negative aiding and/or taking on the Sinister Six, the Prowler and Shocker working together, probably also working with Vulture. Let Peter have both MJ and Gwen Stacy, but let him settle on one in the end; don’t make him a cheater. Chameleon does his own thing. Have Swarm and the aforementioned Negative be heinous villains. Maybe have The Avengers help from time to time. Keep the time traveling and multiverse stuff pretty limited. I wouldn’t mind a Batman crossover episode, or even up to a few. A version of Miles gets teleported to the show when he was way younger, or is already from the universe of the show. Introduce Venom after Season 1, maybe have Carnage or even Galactus be the final boss of the show. Have Hobgoblin usurp, be a rival to, take up the legacy of, or even aid Green Goblin. Have Big Wheel to laugh at himself and others. Introduce The Wall, introduce Silk and Spider-Woman. Make a few new villains here and there. Crap, you can even introduce original and new intersex characters, not just make and female characters, and also transgender characters. Oh, and Kingpin, Tombstone, and Hammerhead can work as a team and/or rival/turn on each other, why not? Maybe even have a Gangland-like episode that’s a 3+ way fight. Introduce Silvio Manfredi and Silver Sable. Molten Man and Hydro Man can come in the mix, and have Shocker work with Ricochet and Ox. Like, you can combine elements from the 90’s show, MCU, Spider-Verse, and Spectacular Spider-Man. Hell, you can even make Harry Osborn a second Antivenom if Venom returns as normal to Eddie. Have Spider-Man, the other Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Silk, and Venom (and probably also Antivenom Harry) work as a team to some extent. Maybe even have Daredevil and The Punisher work together. You can have the show end semi-open ended yet still fairly book ended with either a retired or older and wiser Spider-Man. 8:28 Funnily enough, Raimi’s Spider-Man movies aren’t guilty of this.

I see Friendly Neighborhood as the Spider-Man equivalent to Transformers Animated. Both shows take a lot of liberties with the story but still showcase what makes the main protagonists great. Spider-Man's origin is a little different due to the magic spider thing and Paker's personal life being different. Even still, Spider-Man is still someone who cares deeply about the community he protects even if he's a newbie at the whole superhero thing and cause some property damage. Likewise, Optimus Prime's story takes place after the War for Cybertron and isn't the leader of all of the Autobots. However, he's still a cool dude who genuinely wants to protect people and be a good leader

I have two pitches of my ideal Spider-Man TV series: First is an Spider-Man cartoon show similar to Beware the Batman animated series where, like like said show, it would follow Spidey battling his lesser-known adversaries, like using lesser-known villains like the Crime-Master, the White Rabbit, the Grizzly, the Tinkerer, the Spot, Vermin, Silvermane, Lightmaster, etc. while also an few of Spidey's lesser-known supporting cast, as well, and having it be set in Peter's college years instead, similar to both the 90s Spider-Man animated series and MTV's Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, like showing the audience of both the challenges and difficulties of both being a college student and learning of what it mean of being a adult. Like the show would have a TV-PG rating for minor violence and some few minor language and stuff. Second is Peter Parker is who an married man with his wife, Mary Jane, and kids, Mayday and Richie Parker, and working as a science teacher at Midtown High School as he teaching his students, one of them being Miles (yes, i know, i'm kinda original) who end ups having the same abilities as Peter, albeit with both invisibility and the Venom Blast, where Peter help teach him of using his powers and became his partner while dealing with both recurring and few newer villains and both of their separate situations. The title would've been called in either ways; Spider-Man: Web of Two or Spider-Men (Yes, i'm being truly original with one of those titles).
@theredcrossofficial7 сағат бұрын
I have an idea for a series called “My Life as Spider-Man”. It’s basically Life Story with each season focusing on each stage of Peter’s life (teen, young adult, middle age, etc.) and then halfway through it’d switch to Miles and follow each stage of his life. Also each season’s art style would change to reflect the comics of that decade. We could see Peter’s family and his relationships with other heroes that he’s met over the years (F4, Wolverine, Daredevil, Captain America etc.) P.S. the Peter and Miles series’ sounds really cool. I actually have a theory that they’re going to introduce Miles through YFNSM and put him in the MCU when Secret Wars happens

Yeah, NO. I'm going to have to disagree with the "Miles and Peter Team-Up". Every time these 2 are on screen, Miles always gets relegated to a SIDEKICK to Peter. Happened in the Spider-Man 2 game, and it's currently happening in the "Spetacular Spider-Men" comic. And considering the work writers have put into giving him his OWN supporting cast and rogues gallery, the LAST thing I want is another adaptation that has Miles dealing with Peter's stories, characters and villains. It's better if it's a Miles-only show (preferably with Peter either retired or dead).
@Tb10254 сағат бұрын
I agree with you every for his depiction in the video game. Miles is shown to be extremely capable in the ps5 game, even outshining Peter at times.
@julio.dealmeidabranconeto58314 сағат бұрын
@Tb1025 The plot still revolves around Peter, HIS supporting cast and HIS villains. Miles gets small SUBplot (emphasis on "sub") with Mr. Negative (Peter's villain. Not his), while his supporting cast become irrelevant and none of his original villains are so much as mentioned. Him being "capable" is the BARE MINIMUM.
@Tb10254 сағат бұрын
@ fair enough I don’t think constant cross overs are as good as everything thinks because one character always suffers. In this case it’s miles because he is a new character.

Yeah, I'm in full agreement with you. Between the "Ultimate Spider-Man" cartoon taking Miles from his home dimension to make him a prominent side character in later seasons of that show and the writers behind the "Marvel's Spider-Man" (2017) cartoon quickly speed running turning Miles into Spider-Man in just 10 episodes, it’s a wonder why they don’t just give the kid his *own* show lol.

I made a pitch a while back called Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane about an older Peter teaching school and raising his daughter Mayday. Season 1 was Doc Ock and a new Sinister Six mixing Peter’s old enemies like Electro and Vulture and newer villains like Mr. Negative, Tiana Toomes and Hobgoblin. Characters like Ben Reilly and Miles Morales were involved. Miles was in his college era as a sort of cool older brother who gets her into trouble, Ben was her uncle. Season 2 had Mayday secretly getting the symbiote and going behind Peter’s back with Kaine Parker to take down the Kingpin’s operations, leading to her uncle Ben Reilly’s death at Kingpin’s hands

7:28 I think the main reason motion comics aren’t done as often even tho they would be great for the medium is because their investment is still vastly more expensive than an audiobook. You have to pay for the voice acting and while the animation is certainly easier than an animated series we’re still talking about transitions that have to be animated at 1-5 fps every few seconds which requires hiring artists to do that. So it would still cost like millions of dollars just for a single run of a major superhero

Honestly, I'd rather have a bit more time, at least wait until Ziglar's run on Miles is over. This current one is the first Miles run I'd really consider an all-timer, right now my appreciation for him is basically exclusively from this current run and Spider-Verse, and I'd rather we have a few more excellent writers on him (I can't stand Brian Michael Bendis's writing I'm sorry) before we get into the adaptations. All added up, Miles was created only a bit over a decade ago and hasn't had that many different writers and iconic storylines, especially compared to Peter when he got his first proper show. I wouldn't be against a MIles show I'd just rather it waited until we got some more excellent Miles comics

My admittedly simple pitch is a Miles series where he's in college and worried that he can't live up to the legacy of Peter Parker after his death.(The circumstances behind Miles origin and Peter's death would be similar to the original ultimate universe.) The first season would be focused on Miles and his uncle Aaron as they are fighting the original Prowler Hobie Brown. He would be the main overall villain and it deals with the themes of legacy and mantles. I would call it something like Spider-Man Black and Red, since Ultimate Spider-Man's name was taken by a different show which I plainly don't like (for those who do, I'm glad you like it).
@samkaranja57098 сағат бұрын
I'd basically make like a stern/defalco era Spider-Man. In his mid 20s, dealing with that post college struggle that a lot of adults may have as they are just out there in the world without that structure, just trying to make it. I think that era with him dating black cat, dealing with new villains like the hobgoblin, the rose & the puma would give it that unique twist. Being a young adult comes with new stress, changing priorities, friends in all different stages of life
@legogoka-boomstudio18387 сағат бұрын
Why not a full on miles show I’ve always liked the idea that rather than rebooting the character for each new show, you let the new writers go with a new character to take up the mantle as a kid again. I get wanting to adapt media that doesn’t get a lot of content. Like Invincible gets the pass to be adapted to the letter because they only have one attempt to tell the story. But something like Spider-Man gets media on a yearly basis with several continuities to follow. So I don’t mind that them taking liberties with the source material because its got several opportunities to have adapt source material closely or okay with it a bit. Besides I prefer when a product is different from what I’ve seen before. Mainly because it means I don’t feel like I’m being talked down to about what I’ve already seen. Those live action HTTYD movie trailers are offending me with how little seems to be changed.

If I got to make my own Spider-Man show, my main change would be: Uncle Ben's Death. Everything about it. First, it happens at least as far back as Episode 12, giving us a lot of time to learn who he is, as well as his dynamics with different characters. (May, Harry, Ned, Flash, etc) Next, before it happens, he finds out that Peter's Spider-Man. And finally, his death happens because Peter was too distracted saving people to stop the villain, and teaches Peter something important: If he keeps trying to do this alone, people WILL get hurt. It wouldn't lead to him being an Avenger, or the Future Foundation, or anything, but instead, having a small team of street level heroes. It would essentially reverse the trend of modern Spider-Man media skipping over Uncle Ben. I'm not just skipping his 5 minutes, I'm extending it to 5 hours. . I would also skip out on the College Years, if the show went on long enough for Peter to reach adulthood. Instead, I would have Peter work for Tony Stark. Not as an Avenger, though, that'd be dumb. In the Stark Industries R&D department. A job where his boss gives him permission to leave, at any time, for any reason, no questions asked. Where he'd have full access to a top of the line laboratory, and any Stark Industries prototypes he wants. . Question: What do civilians call Peter and Miles as Spider-Man, to differentiate them? What do the people they're working with call them? That's the real problem with Spider-Man and Spider-Man. Green Lanterns are essentially Cops. It's the equivalent of Officer. You can't compare a title to a name. Barry and Wally, Clint and Kate, and Peter and Miles need to have different names if they're going to operate at the same time for more than a week.

You cooked with the idea of a Spectacular Spider-Men show being a spiritual “Spectacular Season 3”. Have Greg Weisman write, get Josh Keaton and the rest of the cast to reprise their roles, watch Disney+ ratings explode.
@jayheadley80612 сағат бұрын
The way I see it, every Spider-Man TV show, even the weak ones are unique in their own way. I was born in 1998 and as well as the films, I grew up with 90s, MTV, Spectacular, Ultimate (Out of boredom) and Marvel's 2017. I honestly think Spider-Man works better in TV format then films because, you got more stories to tell and more villians and side characters to bounce off with. I always considered Spectacular as the definitive Spider-Man TV series as this series is basically a love letter to a hardcore Spider-Man fans. How it combines every element of Spider-Man from the Lee and Ditko comics to Brian Michael Bendis's Ultimate Comics and the Sami Rami trilogy while still making it it's own thing. And like all fans, I was devastated when it got cancelled and replaced with Ultimate Spider-Man (No offence to the people who have fans of this version, but I always see it as a mockery to the comics with the same name). Pretty much every Spider-Man show that came before and after Spectacular have charm in some shape of form. I know everybody is sick to death of the whole High School Peter Parker thing, but like it or not, that's how Peter started as Spider-Man, as a teenager. Considering the TV shows prior always have him take place during his College/adult era, when Spectacular had his stories take place in high school it felt like a breath of fresh air at the time, until nearly every Spider-Man incarnation after that one happened to have him take place in high school, which I'll admit does get old very fast, and I can see now why everyone demands Spider-Man to grow up recently, especially when we have younger Spider people like Miles Morales for teen audiences. As for Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, I actually like the series so far! The only gripes I have are the spider being from another dimension instead of being radioactive/genetically altered from a lab, Uncle Ben dying before Peter got his powers and Spider-Man carrying a tank, it shouldn't bother me, but I always keep asking to myself, "Since when did Peter ever need tanks and tubes to store web fluid? Isn't that what the web cartridges from his belt and web shooters are for?" I totally respect them wanted to be different, but wouldn't that just make him more vulnerable during battles? As it was shown in the comic version when he was fighting the Enforcers. As for Peter's personality being inspired by Tom Holland's version, I'm used to it at this point, but I do miss the more the chip on the shoulder Peter Parker from 90s, MTV and the old comics. But all and all, I enjoy this version, say what you will about the animation, but feels like an semi improvement from the 2017 series, especially the swinging scenes with the great music to go with it. And the characters are surprisingly good, especially Lonnie Lincoln and Norman Osborn. This show definitely felt like 60s, Spectacular, MTV and MCU all into one. So can't wait for more!
@menev1337 сағат бұрын
I think one of the best ways to make a new Spider-Man cartoon interesting is to have Uncle Ben be alive instead of Aunt May. The dynamic between him and Peter is very underutilized, outside of the latter's hero origins, so it'll be interesting to see Uncle Ben be used outside of that lens.

Yeah I feel all the Spider-Man cartoons being so focused on Peter as a high school student has become a limiting factor to what those series can be. Having one focused on an adult Peter or Miles would be a delightful breath of fresh air.

I've been really digging the story and beats Friendly Neighborhood has been hitting, even tho the animation keeps throwing me for loops constantly with how distracting it gets. And i think your set up for a new and different spider-man show works really well, Being a teacher i think threads the needle so well of letting him keep his life and work balance issues ontop of school drama, while also letting him utilize his strengths as a smart guy without going all Super Genius Parker Industries about it. Plus it gives you great set up and payoff to tie a class lesson into how to slve a spider-man problem. And ofc, support the Animation guild, cause as Friendly neighborhood spider-man shows, you can have great plot stuff, but quality animation from people well compensated can make or break how people come away from watching it

Honestly my ideal spider-man show is a story following him from high school to college than him passing down the torch. Like each season focusing on a different year of school for him. Ik it’s nvr gonna happen and Peter in school is kinda overdone but I’ve always taught this would be a great concept for a show.

i had a similar Spider-Man idea once, but instead, Miles was bit first and has to mentor his teacher, who was bit on a field trip. could be interesting to have the roles flipped, keeping Peter out of high school while still giving us an early version of his time as Spidey

If I was in charge of doing a Spider-Man animated series with full creative freedom i would do a Smallville style TV show showing Peter's life from the early beginnings to adulthood showing all the parts of his life and taking inspirations from all the eras of Spider-Man. Season 1-2: High School years. Inspired by the Lee-Ditko time with some of Romita Sr. Season 3-6: College years. Gwen Stacy death happens at the end of Season 3 and MJ and Peter becomes a couple in Season 4. This is a more darker and mature taking inspirations from the 80s and 90s comics (Last Hunt, Venom, Clone Saga, Harry Osborn becomes Green Goblin etc.) Season 8-10: Adulthood years. Peter is now a fully realized hero and start teaching at Midtown high as a professor and start training Miles plus also start thinking to propose to MJ. Spider-Verse is the big endgame event as he fights to save New York and the Multiverse from Morlun and in the end he's able to save everyone, he retires and gives the mantle to Miles and becomes the new Sepctacular Spider-Man

I think Venom should be a pre established character in this universe, not being in a villian role but instead a hero that occasionally teams up with the spider men and is kind of the goofy fun uncle that Peter keeps telling Miles to be careful around. Maybe in his introductory episode, Peter can be busy at some important meeting or can be out of commission for whatever reason and Venom can replace him for a bit with Miles learning about him and seeing that he has really changed unlike Peter who still views him as a monster.

I definitely enjoy this set up for a Spiderman show. I think the way I'd do it is a Cowboy Bebop esque/Bat-Family type situation where Peter is thinking of retirement and doesn't want to tear his family apart but can't give up this responsibility. But he ends up running into Miles, Cindy Moon, Spider-Gwen from another dimension and maybe even pulling in silly dumb creations of recent times like Rekrap and the Spider Kid (maybe can even be his son) as concepts so that Peter has essentially his own little Spider family over the course of the seasons. Ending the series with a new wave of heroes and Peter finally being able to feel free to enjoy the rest of his life. Maybe visiting the graves of both Ben and May one last time with his family and Spider family to finally be at peace. And I think it'd be great because Miles can have those Peter high school adventures, Peter a little bit but doing more serious stuff. Can deal with stories of being an outcast/transfer student with Cindy. Gwen in between dimensions not knowing who or what she truly wants to be, maybe her universe is gone and this is the only family she has. Kinda of a lost child/orphan story. Can have a lot of fun with Miles and Peter and other silly and fun concepts that would be really interesting. But also pull in some genuine adult and kinda dark themes with various Spider People arcs and everyone learning their place in this world and what it means to have these powers and responsibility. Over time it proving/helping Peter not only become a better teacher but better dad.

Hear me out, I got two suggestions for a Spider-Man show. One of them is a What If-style anthology series themed around the Spider-Verse where each episode centers around a different Spider-person, from the obvious picks like Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, and Spider-Punk, to more obscure ones like Headline, aka what if J. Jonah Jameson became Spider-Man. The other is kind of like Troyo’s pitch, only instead of Peter being a teacher at Midtown who is the mentor of Miles Morales, this series has Peter, who has long since retired from being Spider-Man after his final battle with the Green Goblin, being the mentor for his three kids, Mayday, Anna-May, and Richard when they start developing their own Spider-Man powers. Why yes, that second pitch is basically me promoting my own Marvel universe I call Earth-54581. Thank you for asking.

I've had this spiderman idea since I was a little kid where it'd be a show that follows Peter and Ben Rielly being brothers/heros together. Like no evil Ben or complicated clone saga. The pilot is a basic story about the jackle making a spiderman clone to use as a weapon and the clone rebels. Afterwards the clone doesn't die and the rest of the show is them trying to figure out what to do next.

While I was initially hesitant about the animation from the trailers for the new show, watching the show allowed the animation to truly grow on me even, despite a few nitpicks here and there. So far this show is off to a really enjoyable, solid start with how it's doing its own thing with the character and adapting elements of Spiderman's mythos in a new way and changing things to do something new with he character, kinda like My Adventures With Superman or Batman: Caped Crusader is doing its own thing with those characters but still make sure to keep the core values and characterisations of these iconic heroes faithfully with so much passion and understanding of what makes these characters so special and meaningful to countless people. You can tell that these new takes on Superman, Spiderman, and Batman are still the same Superman, Spiderman and Batman that we love. I really love your pitch idea of a Spiderman show that starts with Spiderman as a public school teacher since I, too, think it's a perfect progression for Peter's character to inspire new students and fresh minds with the same teachings and values he's learnt and actually offers a new story premise for a Spiderman show where we dont see his time as a kid in highschool or in college/university, but just as a guy in his 30's taking on new challenges and struggles which is a very ambitious but ultimately natural progression for the character and the idea of showcasing Miles as the new kid Spiderman whos learning what it means to be Spiderman under Peter's mentorship is an really cool direction for both characters that Im glad more media like the Spiderverse and Insomniac games are using
@icydazo641712 минут бұрын
My idea pitch for a Spider-Man series (comic, animation, etc…) is called “Spider-Man: Miles Ahead” And of course it’s about Miles learning the ropes and growing as he takes up the mantle of Spider-Man under the mentorship of his part time teacher, Peter Parker who has retired to settle down with MJ and have a kid with her after a devastating Superhero Civil War. There will be episodes focused on Peter but a majority of his he show will revolve around Miles with him growing as Spider-Man, exploring more of a Post Civil war world, his life with friends and family, and him facing off against several villains (most of them are just Peter’s lesser known villains rebooted to be cooler… and Paul)

I had a similar idea awhile ago, divide episodes into A & B segments with A segments being young Peter encountering classic villains for the first time while the B segments are Miles being mentored by older Peter and fighting new versions of the villains. With some episodes being full-legth every now and again to develop more complex plots. I think it'd be real fun to play with that formula as well to have an older Miguel go back in time and encounter young Peter in the A segment, only to then reveal in the B segment when Miguel was younger he travelled back in time and met the older Peter & Miles.

I plan to make my own video on it, but my pitch for a Spider-Man show is a college based story where Peter, Miles, Gwen, and Cindy act as a team of Spider-People being led by Miguel. It’d be somewhat episodic a plot that leads to Taskmaster being the main villain.

This is actually really similar to a pitch that I made a few years ago for a Spider-Man series just called "Spider-Men" which also had Peter as a high school science teacher mentoring Miles. Although a big difference is that Peter is actually divorced in my pitch and the main villains of the first season were actually the family of Kraven the Hunter...

Personally for me, my ideal Spider-Man show is a semi-inspired My Hero Academia type series where Peter goes to a superhero school and gets together with Wanda Maximoff... now here me out on this; his teacher is Daredevil who ends up becoming a mentor/friend to Peter and he starts out as how he is in MCU, being an Avengers and Iron Man, later though he finds out Iron Man sucks and no longer looks up to him and his only people he's willing to work with on the Avengers are Bruce Banner/Hulk and Captain America. Also, I like the idea of his classmates having a routine of who goes on scheduled patrol and on one of them, Peter basically has to call in and tell someone he's taking some people's shifts and make excuses for it, not wanting to reveal he's having trouble taking down a villain. That villain being; Morlun. His classmates are: Wanda and Pietro Maximoff Amadeus Cho Eddie Brock, who has the symbiote but doesn't truly become Venom until later on Gwendolyn Poole Daniel Rand Kei Kawade Laura Kinney Seol Hee Azari T'challa Tyrone Johnson Sam Alexander Groot Monica Rambeau Luke Cage Nico Minoru Tandy Brown Riri Williams Robbie Reyes All this is also inspired by a fan thing called My Marvel Academia by ducklordethan, who's art of it is archived.

I really love that idea, and if you’ll allow me to add something, as it’s also something that’s been on my mind lately. There was trend in the last two shows, where they really tried to make Spider-Man, part of a team. No doubt, so they could have more merch opportunities, while still being able to call it “Spider-Man”. And the problem I had with it, was that it actually isn’t a bad idea… for Miles. And having Peter be a mentor to them, instead of the leader, solves all of that. This would also allow the show to explore how the Superhero Community changed over the years. If Miles were to find a group of young heroes to share this life with, it would contrast well against the struggle Peter experienced, being one of the first teenage superheroes, with very little support from either side of his life. It could even allow the show to flashback occasionally to showcase that difference. Cause if we really need to have Peter in high school, at least let it be in retrospect. Hope that makes sense. As a Champions fan, I just find it interesting how Miles’s teenage life is different to Peter’s in that perspective. Hate the fact that adaptations seemed determined to not only ignore that but outright overwrite Peter’s stories to resemble Miles’s.

Spectacular was pretty close for me. Something that gave more modern updates on the old Lee & Ditko stories, while also having more serialized storytelling. I’d love to see Spider-Man content take on the much more darker themes and stories. I’ve felt that the character has become to focused on appealing to younger audiences and marketing him as pretty much the “funny, young superhero”, which feels like more modern depictions coming off as much more flat, leaving out the more complex nuances and grit of the character

My pitch has always taken a page out of the 90’s marvel shows: a Peter show and a Miles show, with occasional team-ups. I feel like the team up stuff should feel special, but your take has me reconsidering this. Peter’s first season would have been more serialized, focusing on the return of the Green Goblin. Miles’ show would have veered closer to My Adventures with Superman, a villain of the week shonen type of series. I didn’t have Peter and Miles at the same school but I did have Pete as a teacher. My initial plan was to actually introduce Flash as a new PE Teacher for Miles, and kind of spark the rivalry with Peter up again, but for mentorship over Miles this time.

Well, I’ll try and throw my pitch. Fantastical Spider-Man starts with Spidey dealing with street crimes around Brooklyn with the crimes being tied to the Maggia. I feel like we don’t get a lot of time with Spidey’s more “grounded” rogues. They’re normally the usual suspects like Norman or Doc Ock. I’d like to reintroduce the Kingpin as part of Spidey’s rogues gallery. Carnage stuff happens and that’s when Venom is introduced. Given that it’s Fantastical Spider-Man, I think a crossover with the Four makes sense. Black Cat stuff also happens. I think in general I’d like to focus less on the more popular rogues but I do have some ideas for characters like Shocker, the Lizard and stuff like that.

How would I do a Spider-Man series... - Give each season 13 episodes and give them a runtime of 25-30 minutes. - Have the characters be voiced by not well known voice actors or those that wanna start a career in voice acting. - Instead of adapting Spider-Man comic arcs I would instead make new and original storylines. - Have Spidey team up with underratted Marvel characters. - Speaking of Spidey he becomes Spider-Man in his adult years instead of his teenage years. - Make it 2D animated because that needs a comeback etc.

By "woke" he meant progressive ideas for the sake of profit, and by saying that the show wasn't "woke" it means that the creators actually understand and explore the themes presented, as you'll come to find out if you actually read the interview. For example, something like rainbow capitalism would be "woke", not because it's queer, but because it uses our marginalization for the sake of profit, and not to actually make the world a better place. (I hope that clears things up)
