Excellent video! Very helpful thanks! It's so irritating when you look up a how to video, and the "mechanic" narrates his life story before, and sometimes during the video before ever getting to actuallyworking on the vehicle. You guys went right to it WITH the tq specs.

Good video! Very helpful.. Although I found I could do it without removing the bottom castle nut and without loosening the bottom a-arm Bolts, cheers!

If you've never done front end work, this professional makes it look super duper easy.

Definitely takes a first timer longer than 8 minutes 😂😂😂 He’s a good mechanic though. Knows his craft

I would like mention that while doing this I accidentally released the lower strut bolt, which dropped the strut down eliminating access to the stabilizer link nut in the a-arm. I no longer had access and had tried forever trying to lift the strut back up, but the a-arm kept lifting as well. After further inspection I noticed the nut inside the a-arm on my 2012 was a WELDED nut and did NOT require a wrench. So not sure if Toyota made that update in the 2012, but it was certainly welded. I hope i save someone else some time.

Why remove the center bolt at the bottom? The one with the cotter pin.

Several unnecessary steps, assuming because you guys clearly made several videos with this same footage. I did this exact job this weekend on my 07 Tundra.

Middle nut on lower ball joint and tie rod arm can stay on. No need to take them off. Two people doing this task makes it a whole lot easier.

Why does every idiot doing this loosen the lower control arm bolts!?!? Loosen sway bar links, remove outer tie rod, remove UPPER CONTROL ARM castle nut then with pry bar manipulate lower control arm until strut comes out!
