This was a useful video that got me through the job. Some caveats. On my 2008 Honda Accord EX it was not physically possible to drop the used mount through the bottom, so removing the splash guard was a total waste of time and effort. Verify you have the clearance before going through that hassle. This job would be really simple if you removed the coolant hose -- working around it is the main hassle. Removing the coolant hose is its own hassle but if you're due to change the coolant, it would be a good excuse to combine the jobs. Finally, I've watched several videos on this job and, in classic KZbin fashion, each one offered different torque specs. If you're particular, I'd verify that independently.

Guys, if you can't drop the mount through the bottom, just do it through the top like I did, it fits if you move the radiator hose around.

It's self contained and shouldn't leak out. It's much like a shock absorber on the wheels.

What happen if the vacumm hose is loose and not connected to the mount? Dose my car vibrate if vacumm line is laking air?
