Great instructions, but spend $20 for a serpentine belt tool and specialized wrench for the belt tensioner, to save yourself a shitload of grief.

Thanks for the help, getting that belt back on was awful since the rear pulley came off somehow. Very difficult to reach. Just took it around the block. Let's see how long my 60$ 6mo warranty used alternator lasts. Beats paying 559 and 750 something, my two other quotes

Accidentally took the belt off the rest of the stuff and it took me forever to get it back but i got it and it works great now. Saved like 300 bucks for only an hour and a half of work.

Kinda wish I saw this video BEFORE taking it to the shop. Might've tried it myself. Although I'll admit I'd be kinda worried about the belt coming off of something else whilst I attempt it. I'd have no idea how to put that sucker back on everything lol.

Ok ! But i need to know whether alternator for diesel cars are similar to petrol cars ?

They gloss over the lower 12 mm bolt. Im currently struggling to remove it. Ive tried 1/4 drive, 3/8 drive, with a wobbly, no luck. Do not count on doing this in one hour. Im pretty experienced and that lower bolt has me confounded. I think most of these comments are robots or something
