However I do tend to support the oppressed and never the oppressor. I will say this slowly, because I know that no matter HOW many times those of us who oppose genocide say it, those who condone it actually don't want to hear it, because it contradicts the brain washing. There can *NEVER EVER* be justification for the deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians regardless of who is doing the killing and who they are killing, that counts equally for Israeli civilians as well as Palestinian. Under international law Israel does NOT have "the right to defend itself" against resistance forces of a nation it illegally occupies by military force. Palestine on the other hand DOES have the right to resist a hostile occupying force. Just as the French resistance had the right to resist a hostile occupying force in the 1940s we call those people heroes (quite rightly) but when it's non Europeans resisting an occupying invader we are instructed to call them "terrorists" and the herd lap it up. I repeat there can *NEVER* be justification for the intentional killing of unarmed civilians, no mater WHO the victims OR the killers. But obviously expecting Israel to behave like any other civilized nation and to obey international laws and conventions clearly means I am an anti Semite for the crime of wanting to treat Israel with equality to all other nations. FREEDOM FOR PALESTINE I stand WITH the oppressed and AGAINST the oppressors. ALWAYS.

Humanity is a nice concept, but it can not solve any logical problems unless it is used by absolutely all parties to the same extent. Was 7.10. humane? So why should Israel respond humanely? But rhetorics aside. Humanity can just work when all involved parties practice it 100% and at the same time. But both parties here use just selective humanity. They claim it for themselves and give nine of it to the enemy. That is a spiral of violence which will never end. To stop it it takes two things: forget and forgive. Focus on the future only.

i love listening tomMax Blumenthal , everything he says resonates with me ..i have seen that same level of hypocrisy and cult like willful ignorance in my many liberal friends who ignore the horrors of animal agriculture and the vicious holocaust 90 billion land animals experience every year ...i am not conflating the moral worth of Palestinians with other species as i will immediately be accused, i am pointing out the human ability to ignore horror right in front of us when it is inconvenient to our interests and useful narratives are readily produced in order to avoid the ethical dilemma we are in fact faced with. As Max points out we cannot separate the violent system we live in form the multiple wars being waged on vulnerable human populations all over the world and the same is true of how we treat other species .. it cannot be separated.. it is one violent cult like system of self interested exploitation.
