Great idea, but mine after a few uses will not charge. Dakota 10a charger that’s in the box, battery reads 14.2v when plugged in but as soon as charger is unplugged it drops to .15v. Will not “wake up” Dakota won’t help me out because my cousin bought it and I’m the second owner. Again, used 2-3 times to power camera and cell battery and run light at camp sight, stored in doors and maybe 1-1/2 years old. Could just buy new iPhone instead of charging for the $2000.00 price tag.

Dang! Thats a huge bummer. Mine has been rock solid so far. Hope you’re able to get something sorted out there

@@HeyJonMoore thanks man. I pick up my camper this time next month, and I popped for a small Bluetti. My plan is to keep it behind the seat in my F150 and charge it off the pickup while I drive. Like you, I have really low power needs. Up until now, I was simply using power bricks to charge my phone at night and all my GoPro batteries.

@@WayawayAdventures Nice! Yeah being able to charge off the cigarette outlet while driving is clutch. I was even thinking of adding a DC to DC charger to my set up so I could charge off the alternator. We'll see what happens.

Consider the Licitti 280ah Lifepo4 battery Cells for 2000W AC Battery Box for $946.Twice size inverter (2000 w) and twice the size battery capacity (280ah) for $300 less

Jon - love your videos. Where did you get the bug screen for the back of the camper/truck bed? Thanks.

Thanks brother! It was custom job from a from a friend who does professional upholstery. I’ll make a video on it soon. I’ve had a few folks ask about it.

How is the diesel heater powered? Does it plug into cigarette lighter?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5fGpJxnr8mMaa8si=s8b58xeIv71hhj2r Check out this video. I talk about how it’s wired in there. It’s probably more helpful than writing it. It’s hooked up to a fuse box and then the battery

I am new to these types of battery systems. Is it possible to charge the battery from your car while driving like you would with a power station?
@HeyJonMooreАй бұрын
Great question, Yes you can charge it via DC to DC converter but I don’t have mine hooked up like that yet. www.renogy.com/blog/what-does-a-dc-to-dc-battery-charger-do/?Rng_ads=0f65f8eb00fbadd1&kw=&ad=&gr=&ca=16522630312&pl=ga&gclid=Cj0KCQiAi_G5BhDXARIsAN5SX7oxrfliUwimd47dTSOP6wM6VKfN_k3mw_T3xy3nrQ6-V-Fp32aOCy8aAkNlEALw_wcB&r_u_id=9188094281&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADrlcl4-1fFXoieXgmL9aCIu-_N2a

Yeti fridge link?
@HeyJonMoore6 ай бұрын
Hey there I had a Yeti Tundra 65 but I swapped it out for a 12V fridge (not Yeti brand) that I’m testing right now. I should have a video out on the 12V option shortly. Want to make sure I don’t have any issues with it first

Would love to know how you rigged up the bug netting. I need to do that on mine and have been worried it will get in the way. Do you have a way to fold it up out the way at all?
@HeyJonMoore6 ай бұрын
It’s a game changer! I have mine attached with Velcro so it’s easy to put up and take down. I can still close everything up with it installed though.

@@JonCancellier Hey Jon, it was a custom job. I had a friend at my last job who was doing high end upholstery. He hooked it up for me. Sorry, he requested that I not send out his info.
