When you look back at her story people mostly think, “yeah it was 1937 so I’m not surprised? But it could never happen today?!” But it still does. Louis B. Mayer, who “hired” her for a “film shoot”, was the original Harvey Weinstein! And if you talked then he’d sic Eddie Mannix on you. Just look up some of the shit they pulled back then. F’ing disgusting.
