This Trucking Game may not be a view from inside the cab, but it's the most realistic physics that a truck makes where you get to understand how to truck operates in reverse. American Truck Simulator (ATS)and European Trucking Simulator 2 (ETS2) are the best trucking games that you get, and I recommend that you play them, but my game is created for people to just get used to reversing a trailer.
I have heard from so many users that truck schools across the country use my game and use my videos to show their students how to back up.

This is the best and most informative video on how to slide tandems. It provides various common situations and problems one can face when sliding tandems and it also shows the manual tandem release and the air release in the same video.

13:25 i always have problems at this part .. i kept rocking the trailer back and forth to release the pins and i failed and it was at Walmart. I bet everyone looking was like 👀👁👀👁👀👀.🤦‍♂️. I was like why isnt this pins going in ... but now😃 i understand after watching the video. But still, who came up with this mechanical design.. im so glad for the pull valve release pin ... makes life soo much easier.

Very informative video...I would be stressing to get the pins back in or out knowing the other trucks are waiting along with the dock workers...Glad you went over this subject, it has never been discussed...KZbin has too many grippers on how much you make and what company is the best / worst... Thank you again for another worthwhile instructional video...love those backup vids...will check if you have shifting...

I had 1 pin today that I couldn't get to stay in all the way. It was just poking out enough to prevent tandams from sliding. The handle came all the way out and other 3 pins where all the way in.. I hit the 1 pin with a hammer and it went in.. But once it slid to the next hole it came slightly out again. Anything I could have done to fix this? I just hit it back in and went hole by hole

great video. Good info. Next one needs to show how to get the pins in the desired hole, like the 41 foot rule or if you just need to go one or two holes to scale a load. Going to use the vise grip trick. Thanks

I've never tried it and just thought of it, but I don't see why you couldn't just pop in a couple stop pins. Carry a couple lengths of pipe and put them in the holes where it would stop it sliding where you need it to go.

Do you only press the yellow parking knob when it’s stuck? Then back up or go forward depending on pin location?
@loubob21
@loubob21 3 жыл бұрын
Could this be made easier by spraying some silicone o a stuck pin and tapping it with a steel hammer? Instead of walking back and forth 3 or more times?

Two thoughts... - I remember my first time dealing with one of the air releases I was so confused. I figured it needed air to work so I had to have the air supply on, but then of course that didn't work. - These days with more experience I'm baffled by how many rigs I see going down the highway with the axles all the way forward. The trailer is just so much more stable and tractor better riding with the axles back. I always run them back as far as I can and still turn what corners I need to and be legal. I only run them all the way forward if I have some crazy tight dock or something.
@MyTruckingSkills
@MyTruckingSkills 4 жыл бұрын
Most loads are loaded in a way where the axles have to me mostly all the way forward to be legal. And of course California requires them to be mostly all the way forward. So most people are more comfortable with them all the way forward, most turns they make are all the way forward. You never know sometime when you need to make a tight turn. Life is just easier with them all the way forward, less to think about.

@@MyTruckingSkills Suppose it's mostly the type of work I've done but generally when I have to slide for weight I'm sliding back. I also drive a lot of mountain passes where the stability and smoother ride is very worth it.

@@snek9353 if you have room. Most places I go are set up 45s so you arent getting in there unless they are all the way forward. Can be tricky with them all the forward because of the tail swing
