The reason why truck drivers that's making a lot of money don't tell you who they working for it's because nine times out of 10 they're working for their self. We have our own business in our own truck a lot of truckers get stuck in the mindset of working for other companies it's probably cuz they don't like doing paperwork and all that but it pays off you don't want to waste your life driving for a company that's not paying you enough for you to invest and retire and not have to worry about anything

Tb is over the road. Lease owner op all the way, thinks local driving is for losers. As a local trucker, with pretty much having opposite views on trucking, I can say this, He's opinionated but straight forward, doesn't hide his thoughts or try to avoid the low points in his career (ongoing truck issues,money) You can see the ups and downs of otr trucking by watching his vids.

Most regional companies require an "x" amount of time doing otr for any person wanting to do truck driving before they even consider you to get hired by them. You can't just get a cdl and go straight shot regional cuz like I said for new drivers they have to have a year at least doing otr

Nathan Harrison putting your equipment in that environment is risky in my opinion. All the bumpy dirty sandy roads. If you have a beater truck it may work but i heard some people leasing new equipment to make money out there. You may pull some good checks but if you dont keep an eye on your truck and wash it off that sand can do some damage in the jiggly bits which you may have to pay for later. Just my opinion but I know nothing...but something to consider...would love to hear someones experience with it

Just tuned into your channel it’s pretty cool..... Been driving for 12 years your somewhat right and wrong about this I don’t know what truckers you be talking too I’ve made my fair share for trucking as far as pay as a “company” driver When I was asked about where I work I told them where to apply who to ask for and what meets the qualification but that’s me cause I genuinely want drivers to succeed!! But my thing is I hear you say and talk about truckers you are a smart man DO NOT WORK for somebody you seem to know a thing or 2 about the business but yet you complain about the company pay or company policy. I now own my own stuff including truck and authority never looking back I know what might right for me may not be right for you but you really don’t got much to lose investing in yourself

Sounds Nice I work for Celadon lol people will say with what's been going on the last couple of years to not work here because they will close doors soon. Ive been with them on and off since 2009 and i dont want to start over for base pay somewhere else. I have learned to manage the disfuntions and pitfalls of dealing with loads and I get consistent miles. I would NOT recommend anyone to come over here. But TB is right if you're a shit driver any company will be shit. I have just found a way to make the crap work for me. If they do close doors i can still switch with a good driving record but i am going to ride out the juicy wave. If people quit because of what they hear on youtube just means more work and miles for myself.

Bc theyre flatbed which typically pays more than dry van. They offer guaranteed pay (with stipulations) and being flatbed they can get you most on the weekends sometimes...Mav actually started pay 42cpm back in 2010..I started there and believe its a good starter company.

Make a video about how every fkn youtube trucker claims to be making $90k a year. I'm not joking. Every trucker that has a youtube account makes $90k. Even the rookies in their first year. Just like how every Uber driver out there is "working for themselves making $80k easy". A "gtfo" middle finger to all the liars out there. Snakes in the grass. Humble yourself. If you make $50k a year its ok. I don't give a shit if you make $50k or $90k. You dont and i dont care if you do. Good for you. Hopefully lying to yourself will make you sleep at night.

Prime pays 5 cpm more to lightweight tractor company drivers in the reefer division, but do drivers really make more or do they get less miles?
@aqua66135 жыл бұрын
MAXIMUM those are my thoughts on those high cpm paying chicago area companies. Unless youre running at night or know backways with how traffic is i dont imagine anyone really getting miles being stuck in traffic or averaging 45mph speed days. But i know nothing. It might just work out. Say average 600mile day at 40cpm $240 300mile day at 70cpm $210. There woud have to be stop off pay or other incentives to make me want to run local chicago stuff plus cost of living and state tax are a killer no thanks.But i know nothing about that. If someone can share some i sight would be cool.

If the truck is rockin dont come knockin but that thigh meat was extra soft lmao. I love mountains even if they are not efficient. Potato loads through yellowstone was what i got when i picked up the truck. Very scenic and beautiful but creeping at 25mph not fun unless you do the dragon fly lol drag up the hill and fly down it. If they didnt want mountains shoulda done local or regional in illinois or kansas or something....but that strap on tho 😨
