Today’s detox practice is a work out. Consider, “What are the things we have to work through?” Sometimes it’s hard to identify them, so we hop on the mat, we move our body and then it’s revealed. "No one expects you to master or jive with every practice" that really touched me because today I was feeling a little weak and dizzy and there was a moment in the practice where I chose to stay in child pose until I felt better to continue. I'm glad I did and I listened to my body. Thank You Adriene. Have a wonderful day

you guessed it so right, I needed this sweet detox flow now! today’s my 105th yoga with you, lovely adriene!! when you said, what incredible self-love and discipline you have, you should be rlly proud, I truly felt it out, and my heart fluttered, filled with grace, strength and gratitude. like, I’ve never been so engaged in something, but now then yoga for me is not just a state of mind or a habit, this is what my soul longs for, it nurtures me and gives me energy I couldn’t even find in myself so far. I’ve always been so frustrated and off, and I don’t feel this way any more, I’m free. thank you, adriene, you saved me, I feel so much more at ease now, I feel how soft and still I am, in comparison to where I started my journey. can’t thank you more, I love you and benji with all my heart. bless you, stay safe ☀️

A few days ago my boyfriend and i broke up, after a long and destructive relationship. i was afraid of falling in to a hole of loneliness and toxic thoughts - but yoga really has my back. im proud of myself for finally choosing to let go of the things that are no longer serving me...and man: im actually feeling really good! ive been practicing for years, but still love your calming voice and your motivation adriene. so cheers to new beginnings, self love and cheers to you! namaste

Today I did 40 days of yoga in a row. Has my body changed? Yes, a little bit. But more important: I never felt that comfortable in my body since I was a child. For years I tried to loose weight and fought against it, but through yoga I've started to learn to love it. I am so thankful for that.

Thank you Adriene, that was a challenge, however my heels are getting nearer to the floor with every downward facing dog, and not having to watch the video but just listen to your voice is a measure of how good a teacher you are. See you tomorrow xxxx

Hi Adriene! I was looking for yoga videos and couldn’t enjoy others because everyone is so perfectionist about the moves and breathes and everything. Thanks to you now I’m able to enjoy the time that I spend to be the better version of myself and I’m happy to do yoga even though sometimes I lose my balance or can’t catch the moves. You taught me to do whatever feels good and right to me and my body. Looking forward to finish this challenge. You’re adorable, thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Today was a bit of a struggle. My mind is filled with toxic thoughts and my whole body feels it. I feel sluggish, tired, out of place and disappointed with myself. My body was just plain refusing to calm down to practice yoga, but I didn't give up and now I feel a bit better. But that is a part of the journey. You cannot always be 100%, some days are going to be worse than others but thankfully we have Adriene when that does happen. Thank you for helping me deal with my anxiety, much love. Namaste

I'm taking this 30 day journey now, and am also feeling resistance and pain today. Glad to see I'm not alone. Makes it easier to come to the mat again tomorrow.

day 10 yes mam! I'm now feeling like if I miss a day I would not be complete so after 30 I'm going on for more, why stop at 30, why not make it a daily thing like food or sleep ok thats what I'm learning today. love life, and yoga. thank u Adrienne for being my guide!

Hi Morgan! IN feb.I'm going to customize each day to how I'm feeling, so if my neck is out one day, will do the neck stiff one, and if I'm sad will do her anti sad one, just playing each day out in feb, if my ole bessy bod can make it to feb!

Tears have been shed on the homefront for me today. I'm struggling inwardly, but as soon as I get onto the yoga mat, I feel at ease and its helping me get through this unfamiliar feeling. So thank you Adriene and yogis 💛 namaste 🙏 x

I was on day 69 (eh oh!) of doing Yoga every day this year using your 30-day practices...and then I got struck down with Coronavirus like symptoms (I've not been tested but I'd be surprised if I had not contracted it! Would be far too coincidental!) and so I had to stop for a week! Alas, I have a bit more strength from my self-isolation and I come back to re-join the journey and it is a 'Detox' episode! It was like it was meant to be! Sending love and light to all of you in the world right now. Stay safe and for the love of everything sane, STAY INDOORS! Namaste!

Adriene! I feel that something profound happened to me through your lesson. I felt unusually apt to all of the ansanas today, normally i always have some form of mental resistance which I see as part of the practice/lesson, learning to let go of this resistance. Anyway, right at the end as I was laying in corpse pose and just as I was bringing my prayer hands up to my third eye I had a such a strong feeling, it reminded me of the first time I went travelling and was on a plane to Australia, I felt so vibrant and free! Like the world and Universe was full of so many possibilities just waiting for me to pick. This feeling filled my body with so much energy and at the same time my closed eyes welled up with the beginning of tears. It was so lovely! I thought I went through what some might call a spiritual awakening a few years but this felt different and really really awesome! Thank YOU for spreading your light around the Universe! this is my fifth 30 days and I have never felt more comfortable or positive with my body. My mental health is the best it has ever been and my relationship with food has improved as I have graduated to mindful eating. I tell everyone about the 30-day yoga it obtainable for everyone and so healing for body and soul. The best thing is my interaction with people I am so much more at peace, finding and doing what makes me happy. Thankyou Adriene

Today is my 100th day of daily exercise and this is my 3rd round of 30 days of yoga which I've been doing as a mini challenge to go through all the years of it. So far, I've done 20 and 19 and this is my day 10 and I'm really pleased with my focusing in on muscles while doing the poses rather than going through them quickly and not really utilizing the proper muscle groups. So while I'm not 100% doing great day in day out, I know that doing this daily practice has helped even if sometimes I feel like it hasn't. Case in point - I held the plank pose for maybe 5 seconds with full leg and arm extension which would have been impossible when I first started these daily exercises

So far it seems like this journey has been made just for me. Every day has been exactly what I need! I decided to do a 5-day cleanse starting today not even thinking that day 10 is detox day. This month has been incredibly inspiring so far. I'm truly grateful.

Today is my 100th consecutive day of Yoga With Adriene!!! I started with True and just kept going. I'm proud of myself but I couldn't have done it without you, Adriene. 🙏🏻 I've made it to the mat on days with no sleep and heart palpitations, through the painful loss of a dear friend (cried through that entire practice) and every challenge in between. Each and every time, I have felt better for having had the experience. Regardless of what the day throws at me; it's exactly what I need. Thank you for sharing your gift with me, with all of us. What good is gift if you don't share it with others? Yoga With Adriene is helping me grow into the best version of myself. I could not be more grateful. See you on the mat tomorrow!! I felt super weak today so some of the moves were hard for me! I showed up and did my absolute best nonetheless. I personally need to work of getting rid of that nagging, negative voice that tells me "stop", "you won't make it", "nahhh you're not strong enough". Today, I succeeded in replacing them with strong, positive notes so I'm proud and happy!

I am recently trying to lose weight as unfortunately I have 50kg excess weight. During this hard time alongside of my heavy diet and morning exercises which I don't like them, I just make my way whith this yoga , I feel like your lessons are my back and make me calm , even though they are hard whith this much weight I have , but I am trying hard and I am truly trusting the process and love it , thanks from bottom of my heart.

Almost didnt come to todays practise. My niece's birthday was yesterday and my body was aching from carrying children around the house (my 2 nieces... yes parents you may laugh). But I thought no. Let's do this. And although some moments were hard I carried on and now I'm sweaty, hungry and happy. Ready to take on the rest of the day 💖🥰

I estimate that I practiced with 2000 people at the same time and if only an eight of that meditate afterwards, than I meditated with more than 250 people. The energy during my practice and definitely during my meditation was intense. I have to believe that is all thanks to you Adriene! Thank you!

40 days of yoga today - Post dedicate! thank you so much! I sweated it out today but kept thinking, where is the workout? Because I was able to do the moves mindfully and without this crunching feeling, knowing what I do is good for myself even if it feels hard at first. Thank you for making me realize. 🙏

Somedays I click with the practice and others I think something in me fights against. Maybe the fighting ones are some of the most important. Either way I felt amazing after today's practice. It was one of my favorites and I'm definitely finding more ease in my body. I love the childlike nature of yoga. The movements we do on the mat I see my children do naturally throughout their day. That is amazing to me. ❤

I really struggle with self love and being proud of my accomplishments because I know I’m just gonna mess up again. But when you said “Ten Days! What an amazing act of self love and discipline. You should be proud!” It was like you were talking right to me. I can be proud of myself for showing up for ten days. And it feels so good, I hope I will remember I’m worth it to keep showing up. PS my kitty Alex hung out with me during my practice today. 😻

Loved day 10. What a great way to detox my brain with all those yummy twists. Having 10 days ago completed 30 days of Home, I’m very much enjoying my journey with True. It feels different though familiar. Thanks again Adriene for fantastic yoga to enjoy whilst slowly opening up lockdown. Also interesting to watch the news from USA. We are fortunate to have yoga in our lives to help us navigate through these challenging times and whilst not attending a class here, I’m so appreciating my new yoga teacher. This is the longest period in my life that I have done yoga everyday with the same teacher apart from myself. Am loving it and considering whether I can complete True whilst also starting your August timetable! Will see. Namaste 🙏 Sue UK

Challenging but eye-opening practice today. When you prompted us to exhale anything that wasn't serving us, the words, "jealousy isn't serving me" immediately jumped to mind. I've been struggling with jealousy at work, but it's not making me more motivated or determined, it's just making me feel bad. So, I will take this mini breakthrough with me off the mat to see if I can let my jealousy dissipate with every deep inhale and detoxing exhale. Thanks, Adriene! And thanks for creating this community in which I feel comfortable sharing.

Fruitvlieg Daphne Fantastic! I am on day 17 now and really enjoying the journey. I have been doing some body weight exercises but never practiced yoga before so it was quite difficult in the beginning. I am easing into it slowly however my hemstrings are really tight and can’t touch my heels on the mat at downward dog. I hope time will help. Best of luck to you,too! X

When I first started yoga the practices seemed pretty long, but now everything seems so natural that time just flies by. Adriene, you're übercool, thank you for leading us in this journey. Everytime I come home and start a practice it feels like meeting a very good friend and just spending some quality time together. See you tomorrow! :D

Man my balance was not on point today in those high lunge twists 😂 but it's fine, I can feel myself getting stronger by the day! Great practice Adriene, thanks for helping me get my sweat on!

Same!!! However; there is one thing I dont get : the leg baby. I don't feel a stretch and it kinda hurts my ankle from holding my foot up with my hand. Have you guys figured it out? Where is the stretch, or is it just for mobility in the hips? I need a hand to get to that a-ha! yoga moment.

These sessions are proving to be the best way to separate home me from work me. I do them as soon as possible after finishing work and they erase all the stress and tension from me, and I go into my evening in a much better frame of mind. Thank you, Adriene.

Started crying the moment you guided our hands to our third eye. I've been carrying some heavy emotional and mental baggage that has been making day to day life so much more difficult than it should be. Yesterday, I experienced deep personal reflection and this practice helped me push through the energetic blockages that arose in my mind, body, and heart. Good morning Adriene! Once again you seem to have magically given me exactly what I needed. I had a little cry during this practice, but they were good, cleansing tears, and I feel so much better for it - as well as very excited by how much more relaxed and able I feel during downward facing dog!! Hi Adriene, I'm slowly working through this yoga journey. Love it, couldn't say enough good things about it if I tried.... But I want to thank you in particular for helping me become more aware of my body. I'm working on becoming better with my art, and I noticed that when I draw, I tense up really, really hard. I guess it's because I'm afraid of making mistakes, but it actually makes what comes out worse. You helped not only to be able to notice when I'm tensing up, but to be able to release it. It helps me calm down for what I'm about to draw, and that is so invaluable to me. So thank you!

This week has personally not been the best but I️ made it to day ten! Toward the end of this practice I️ began to cry. I️’ve seen this happen on tv before but never thought it would happen to me. How ironic that it happened on Day 10: Detox. Loving this 30 days, and loving you Adrienne for helping me find what feels good.

I know the shape isn't the goal, but after months of practice, I was finally able to do the full squat.It was a rush of joy to realize my heels touch the ground without pain. Thank you Adriene!

So needed this practice today. Came to the mat incredibly angry, wasn't sure if I'd be able to focus through the practice. But this work out helped me *work out* some of that anger, and I finished calmer and more present. Now I'm in a better mindset to meditate and pray for further peace. Grateful for Day 10!
