can you link which model and which probe you have for your atkins thermocouple

I think it’s just a k type probe, nothing fancy but Atkins is very accurate

What’s the reason you used the Bacharach and then the infinicon? And also what leak detector do you use more often?
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
Inficon was frozen. Inficon is more convenient but I find the H10 to be more sensitive for finding smaller leaks

Want some suggestions about freezer and refrigerator brands,atosa vs true.
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
They don’t build them like they use to, that’s for sure. Anything local is better for warranty purposes.

Does this reach in freezer count as a reach in refrigerator? I thought freezers had a TD of 10
@zkdlfmaos9 ай бұрын
That's what I exactly was gonna say too. I don't know if True freezers have their own specific td rather than use 10

Hey, im new to refrigeration and im just wondering what is TD and how do I find it?
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
Temperature difference, usually determined by the engineer/manufacturer

As a newbie to refer side of hvacr where do i learn these evap tds and condenser tds
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
They vary but most cap tube reach in are 20 td evap. TXV could be 10f or 20F. Condensors are 30f or 15F, a lot of the newer stuff is 15F or less .

On learning the service side
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
Learn schematics, sequence of operations and saturation pressures. I had a book by Dick Werz called refrigeration for A/C techs that helped me alot. There are a lot of good resources on my KZbin page as well as others on YT.

What's your true full definition of the stress test? Are you saying 1° every 2 minutes it should drop or something close to that?
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
On a freezer I am looking for 1 degree every minute. Once I get below 10F it will be closer to 2-3 minutes for every 1 degree drop.

Brilliant explanation on these videos. The Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion is doing my head in though. Wanna try doing your next video in Celsius and KPA for the rest of the world lol? There's a challenge for you 😏
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
Lol, funny enough, I’m in Canada and we use Celsius but all of our PT charts in school were in Fahrenheit. On top of that, all of our manufacturer TD’s and suggested superheat are calculated in Fahrenheit so I had no choice but to teach my brain to use Fahrenheit over Celsius.
