Great to see your Amtrak Cascades again. In a previous comment on one of your Cascades videos I've mentioned of the Cascades being on my projects list, and holding on for a few years an Electrotrem Talgo cars Finally, I've completed my custom made Amtrak Cascades a few months ago, and finally got to shot some videos with the train. It's a model of Mt Baker - see my latest uploaded videos.

Great video, great layout. I have an N gauge Kato brand Amtrak set that has the P42 engine, a baggage car, 2 sleepers, dining car, sightseer lounge car, coach baggage & 2 coaches that I set up to run around the Christmas tree when I decorate my home for the Christmas season. In the future I plan on buying more track, more Amtrak Superliner cars as well as some building kits for a future layout in N gauge.

Hi, the correct OMI model with brass F59phi would sell for 4K with 5 cars. if you use an Athearn F59Phi and 5 waltzers cars I would guess about 500.

Hi, these cars don't come with lighting nor sound systems, aka Soundtraxx Soundcar. Which is basically a DCC sound decoder minus motor control. All was custom installed by me. The LEDs and incandescent bulbs, DCC decoder for lighting effects (headlighlights, ditch lights, warning beacon and tail lights), Soundcar decoder and custom speakers. I am talking about the Amtrak California. The Surfliner also has lighting and sound decoders, but it didn't work on it.

Jordan Shreffler, these are not mine. I believe that are Loksound N scale. My F59Phi has a very old Loksound 2.5. So, it is an older decoder.

The Amtrak California F59PHi has a very old Loksound v2.5 of EMD 710. The sound of squeaking wheel comes from 2 soundtraxx SoundCar. The F59PHi Cascades has a Tsunami decider.

Amatthew rail Productions, If you are referring to the Amtrak California cars, they were release only once btw 1999 & 2000. I saw them first at 2000' NMRA convention in San Jose. I was first interested in the beautiful scheme of F59PHi. At that time Athearn didn't make this locomotive in plastic. At the convention, OMI didn't had many if any Amtrak California cars. They were already sold out before the NMRA annual convention. However, the price of these cars went actually down btw 2001 to 2006. Now it is stratospheric. It is impossible try to find a whole OMI set. Not everything is despair though. Union Station Products makes all cars variation in kit form: unionstationproducts.com/amtrak.html So, if you have the skills...

Meister Rock19, Even in their original OMI release price, I don't think that would be many takers for full set. Besides, OMI may only may made only 25 or 30 of each car. So, that means they are really scarce. So, that is why is impossible to be able to put together a set. Union Station Products makes kit of these cars in HO, but I haven't seeing a set yet.
