This is what kills me about the police who took her call when she let them know her husband was trying to kill her. You would think the cops would have actually tried to look for this man after attempting to kill her or tell her and the family they need to go into hiding, but obviously that was not important to the cops enough to take it seriously and a innocent family dies. Sometimes I wonder what is the purpose of cops, if it's not to protect and serve. In this case, they definitely dropped the ball on the protecting part, as many cops do

@sevan40594 жыл бұрын
@@bostontowny4life744 they should make the laws harsher. People die every day from domestic violence. The times i went to police for help i had witnesses and i had injuries. But still nothing. But i know that a lot of the cops dont take it seriously bcuz there are a lot of people who lie and say theyve been assaulted when they havent been or they just turn around and forgive the person who assaulted them and it ends up making a long drawn out process just get dropped which irritates cops and those involved in the process. But if they prosecuted the liars and held them accountable all while making the laws stricter i think things would be better

The sad reality is - people like that, even if they arrest them, eventually they have to release them esp. if its a first offence or just while building a case to prosecute. And someone as psychotic as him - he was minded for revenge anyway so even being let out just 1 day would have been enough of an opening to do what he did. But you're right, i've learnt that police are more reactionary if anything. For example, they'll never come if you say someone is planning to do something or threatening to do something. I've literally been told to call back after something happens. Smh!!

this one is horrible, but there's so many lessons that can be learned from it. The big 2 i took is that a lot of these crazy domestic situations all seem to happen when the more innocent kid of a good home chooses to date or even have a kid with a scumbag, that's what almost always leads to these outcomes, making poor choices and brining a dangerous stranger into your house. Second, I'm disappointed in the new boyfriend, he was aware of the threat and yet still couldn't stop him while armed, he was the key to the whole family's survival, if he had just won his fight, everyone else might've lived and he was the only one there who probably could've fought him 1 on 1 and won, him failing meant bad news for everyone else. This is why things like self-defense training and situational awareness are so important. People don't take their problems serious enough I find, they don't address them immediately or the cower away from them. Imagine if he just had a semi-auto rifle prepared and on his person that night and was ready for guy's arrival and had actually listened to his GF's warnings. In fact he should've taken care of this beforehand, if an ex-bf is threatening your gf, and you as a guy don't confront him immediately and take care of it, that's just a recipe for disaster brewing. Take care of problems immediately so they don't have an opportunity to blow up in your face later.

I live and work in the area where this happened. It has left us all with broken hearts. Some are asking as to why he wasn't arrested for the incident involving the knife the first time. Its because he ran and they had been looking for him. It was during this time that he came back and murdered these poor people. Someone else posted a comment not believing that the cop just so happened to find the bodies after 6 days and wondering how fast flesh can decay... Well... Here in Florida things can decay in a very short period of time. 6 days in the Florida elements, especially in this area due to it being very marshy, can cause the body to be almost skeletal. Plus our wild life will scavenge the flesh. The Pasco County Sheriffs Office is a great agency. Thats why they were able to find the bodies. In fact this is the Pasco Sheriff's office you've seen on live pd if you've watched the show. As for the juror that wasn't for the death penalty... That's their prerogative. Me... I'm definitely for the death penalty in this case. Our hearts break for that little boy. I hope he can find peace somehow. It'll be a miracle if he does after all of this. Anyway... @B Joseph, because the jury is not such a harsh judgemental person as you. The jury may also believe life in prison would punish Adam more. Also, the child would be more ruined mentally to learn both of his parents are dead.
@beeo38595 жыл бұрын
@@Keepskatin judgemental? That is what the jury is suppose to do, to judge based on the rules society collectively agreed on. Any personal beliefs should have been disclosed during the jury selection. In this clear cut case, we erase this man from the face of the earth, use our tax money to so many good causes and move on. Looking in from outside, aren't we all compromising ? Listen to that 911 call again and put a loved ones face to it. Watch the despair and hopelessness of the mother and the agony in the father's look as they talk about their only son's murder. This human waste is a reminder of pain and lose to his child, actually better dead than alive.

That was my first thought as well... Why was there not police detail at the home? The police need to take Domestic Abuse more seriously!! More likely than not the abuser does come back to finish the job. They probably told her to go to court the next day to file a PFA. Unfortunately if that was the case she never even had the chance to do it. This is a tragic event that may have been prevented. I'm not blaming police, but they may have been able to do more.

@Home Team Yes, I know when someone says they're Hispanic Latino or Mexican they're referring to ethnicity. However, most Hispanics refer to their ethnicity as a race. They don't always just throw themselves into the "White" category. They are their own statistic as well as caucasian and blacks. So it is a grey area when referring to their race. It isn't always so black and white.

I will never understand how something like jealousy can motivate an individual to react so violently and viciously. Losing someone and the pain of watching them move on is understandably devastating. But it’s temporary. Even if it doesn’t seem like it will ever end, it does. There will always be someone out there to connect with and develop a relationship. Part of being an adult is learning that life can be painful at times, but nearly all pain is transient. You have to decide to let go and move forward. These scorned people that stoop to such levels of insanity bewilder me. Have some class and dignity. Fake it if you must.
@reminiscer15 Жыл бұрын
I never understood that either, the moment I sense someone doesn't want me around then I leave them alone and let them take the initiative to make any further contact if they want to. Never understood why someone would want to force their presence somewhere they're not wanted, I know it hurts but if someone doesn't want you even for a really stupid and petty reason then leave them alone.
