Egypt Covington was murdered by x3 strangers. Two of them have already been sentenced for her murder. The three men were trying to break into a person in Egypt’s building who was manufacturing weed in his apartment the x3 men knew he was out of town, so intended to rob his home. The three men went to the wrong apartment, which was Egypts they ended up shooting her/murdering her. Egypt never knew or had met her killers. The men in her life Curtis and Kenny were not involved in her murder. Tina Covington, Egypt’s mother had it right.

Just pray for peace for Curtis, the friends & especially the family. Egypt & Amber fly with our Lord’s angels. 🙏❤️

This is exactly why people are to be considered innocent until proven guilty. Im so sick of the false accusations of abuse. We throw around the word "abuse" way too much. Mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical abuse has been turned into a buzzword people use to gain sympathy and make themselves victims. If a spouse is being a nasty jerk to the other, and the other yells at them to shut up, that doesn't make the jerk a victim of mental and emotional abuse! Just stop and grow up.

Yep, Egypt's name, face, talent, and horrible end seems to have left an imprint in many minds, here, as so many remember both her story and the justice found to provide closure. The amount of anxiety, anguish, etc. that people wind up effected by is probably indescribable, and I mean that for both family and friends, but also for the wrongly accused. I can only imagine the burdensome feeling of being falsely accused, as Egypt's ex was in the court of public opinion, which I believe can weigh just as heavy as one might feel inside an actual courtroom. This was likely an incredibly traumatic experience for her ex to be deemed capable of ending Egypt's life when it seems like he actually was doing everything he could, despite their breakup, to make her a part of his life as she'd been before - quite the opposite of wanting someone gone.

I hope Egypt’s ex Kenny sued the local police department for naming him a person of interest. I’m also wondering why Crime Watch Daily/True Crime Daily hasn’t removed this story from all web postings. Why do they post stories like Egypt’s before the crime is solved, and especially why do they go into slanderous details about possible suspects and then allow that slander to remain in their crime videos? If the police release the name of a person of interest and that person is later found totally innocent then that’s one thing and the police should be held accountable, BUT why can media companies post a half-told story and leave that hanging like low fruit on the Internet forever? This isn’t freedom of the press, this is a potential public lynching waiting to happen. People who are unfairly maligned by the media have to wait while the real culprit(s) are found and sentenced, and some like Kenny wait years before their names are cleared. Maybe detectives should have the story ‘The Scarlet Letter’ as mandatory reading before they get promoted to detective.
