I am familiar with the DeLand area and the one thing I will say, the homeless people are quite out of control and the police do nothing to stop them. All they will do is run them off if a property owner finds them on their property. Otherwise they are given free range pretty much. Trash and stuff everywhere, steal stuff constantly. It's rather frustrating.

I like Rich, but I disagree. You don't only care for pets looking to their physical needs, what about emotional ones, and if you weren't prepared to defend them when necessary, what a raw deal would they get for loving and trusting you. This guy probably should have found a better way in this case, because he had time to think (and he also sounds as if he had major anger issues, so I'm not sure how kind he was to his German Shepherds (wonderful dogs ❤❤!!))! But I'm sure there are cases where you have to defend innocent animals in a split second. If someone attacked them in front of you, e.g. (Hopefully, nobody would have to die, though)! Also, would the alleged perpetrator really have gone to jail? I know you had a case on here where they were really held accountable for killing a dog, but is it the norm? Animal protection laws need to be better, stronger and enforced more so people don't feel alone and helpless in defending animals

It’s John Wick! Seriously, besides being a violent criminal, he’s not much of a dog owner if he’s in a long running dispute with a homeless man about a dog. It’s his duty to protect the dog from harm if there is a maniac out there intent on hurting your animals.

Hello Ana and Rich - these cases are so baffling to me. I’m very happy that the Husband realized he was being poisoned and went to the Police. We saw in the Kouri Richins case the Husband knew but, didn’t take action which resulted in his death. These cases are just heartbreaking! I will never understand why you don’t just get a divorce and leave. It’s a better life than living in jail. Ana, you and I are dog lovers and we would do anything to protect them but, shooting somebody over a dog dispute is a bit much. The fact that he is a therapist is terrifying! Rich- good luck on your trail hike, I will be sure to follow your journey. Thank you for your dedication to this case. Have a great weekend.

@@laurafennell9084 then she should skip the expensive coffee and settle with a cup from the office breakroom. I was poor much of my life- I was even homeless for a few months back in the winter of '89. I'm squarely middle-class now and SO grateful for every small thing I have. I feel like I was more able to live on a tight budget when I needed to because I had that behavior modeled to me... and I think that many younger folks didn't have that. Worse, many grew up in homes with severe, dysfunctional spending habits. That's not the young peoples' fault and I get SO FUCKING ANGRY when people slag off young people. But I can see how they were disadvantaged through no fault of their own. The direct answer to your comment is, _If she wants to improve her situation, she needs to either plan ahead better or do without/settle._ I'm not talking about the same bogus bootstrap shit either... my mom grew up DIRT poor and she said her mother strove for a clean home and clean clothes on her clean kids because "Soap is cheap and elbow grease is free." She wanted her family to live with all the dignity they could, even if they did live in a cabin with no running water or toilet, in the frozen countryside in Canada. With SEVEN kids, before disposable diapers were invented. That's what I'm talking about: I was raised hearing about that stuff so I knew what it would take to survive it and climb my way out, when I had rough times. *All that said,* things are the way they are right now because we're slowly being squeezed to death by the 1%, and I'm all for CEO Casserole recipes.

My soon to be ex husband set off four total release bug foggers in the house while he knew I was inside sleeping. He also had the attitude of “oh well. Oops.” And then I had to ask him to take me to the doctor. When I walked out with him to the parking lot I told him the doctor asked if I wanted her to call the police to file a report. And I told him I was tempted to. And I said “I told her no because I was scared.” After I said I was tempted. All he heard or cared about was that I said I was tempted. In front of our daughter he raged so badly that it traumatized her and myself so much. It was in 2021. And I didn’t file charges. He also knew I am allergic to chemicals and have asthma. It was very traumatizing to wake up to the poison in my face and throat and lungs. Anyway it was pretty sad. That was the last straw and I am the bad guy for not wanting to stay in a literal toxic marriage. lol.

You expect the victim (parent of deceased animal)to call the police but if your neighbor kills your cat instead of calling animal control…make it make sense. Mobile, AL has a cat leash law. I lived there11 years and never saw a cat on a leash! The laws are there so someone can harass you if your cat isn’t on a leash. It’s ridiculous.

Here in NY, my neighbor was trapping possums and killing them in his shed. We tried to find organizations who would help us with this psycho. My sister contacted several people but they wouldn't do anything. My mother and I recorded the trapped possum and gave the proof to my sister. Finally someone reached out to us and they went to this psychos house. The animal detectived released the possum and the psycho said he placed the trap to catch rats. We spoke to the detective and unfortunately since there was no videos of him killing the possum, they couldn't charge him. Anyhow, we knew he killed them because when my mom was still talking to the neighbors he said he would catch them and kill them. My mother saw him go in to his shed with the trap and come out with a bag. He has been warned, and he has never done it again. We always look over his yard though.

As for the second case. What kind of person are you marrying when you ask your wife what's up with the shitty smoothie. She says she pees in it?! A severe lack of critical thinking skills on both parties involved. Seriously wtf

Was there 'evidence' that Hardy (the homeless guy) actually put the glass in McBride's dogs food? Or is this just hearsay or defense that he's using? Without ever calling the police?

Travis was too close to the issue and lost his perspective. Why didn't any of the do-gooder neighbors who had no problem witnessing the murder, call the police until it was too late. They seem to approve of the action without needing to take responsibility until it was time to sacrifice Travis.

I think the therapist is thinking”mutha fluffer won’t be killing anymore pets”…..honestly I’d like to know if the poor dog had glass in his digestive tract, blood in his stool or vomit….rip hood boy😥

Did he also think that when he was choking a woman? He's an abuser and people believe him just because he assumed that guy hurt his dog.

I think his mug shot he is trying to make himself have that poor me my mommy yelled at me "look." I mean I can't say I'd be happy if I thought someone was trying to kill my animals, actually I had a neighbor come over at like 8pm once and bang on my door because one of my dogs was barking. I had a friend over and our kids were about 3 and 4 at the time, they were playing, and I was vacuuming so it was loud... I didn't even hear my dog barking or else I would have been the first to stop him and bring him in, and this neighbor said his son (who was also a grown adult) was gonna shoot my dog if he didn't stop barking and I went NUTS. I didn't kill the guys but I went bizerk on him on my front porch 😂 I don't care who you are, you don't mess with kids, elderly, or animals. Then again, my mind didn't go to ending someone's life. Maybe kicking him but not the M word. Lol geeshhhh talk about going from zero to 100... And the lady who was maybe poisoning her husband, when are people going to learn that you can just leave? And that you will get busted. Even if it isn't right away, it will most certainly come back to haunt ya. Once again. Geeeeesh I do have a super serious question though...was the Pakistan man a prince? Lol Have a great, safe weekend Ana, Rich, and true crime fam!

We're seeing a lot of cases where murder has been committed by people others would never suspect would commit homicide such as Sydney Powell who murdered her mother after being expelled from college due to failing grades. Hannah Payne who pursued and murdered a motorist who left the scene of a motor vehicle accident that Hannah wasn't involved in. In addition Hannah was told at least twice by the 911 operator to just get the fleeing motorists license plate number but not to pursue that motorist. The Ohio man who excuted his three sons after an alledged argument and wifes wish to divorce.
