@@bullworthless I mean, it's the different mindsets really. Vinny's thinking the main game, where you're up against a bunch of NPCs, that's a REALLY good stat spread. However, in competitive, where everything's min-maxed to all getout, it's a good stat spread.

There’s a lot of dragon/bug fakemon, and I think Modifly is the one that most creatively captures both of them, in my opinion. Everyone wants a dragonfly, but Modifly feels like… it’s a little bug, that behaves like a dragon, collecting and hoarding treasure. Like, you know how in Cars they have tiny flying cars that fulfill the role of bugs? Modifly feels like that, for a world of dragons. I don’t know if any of that made sense.

I could see Meltower being a Pokémon Team Rocket somehow befriends after accidentally coming across it in some abandoned factory. Edit: before seeing the second pokemon; I’m picturing an insect that disguises itself as a stray cat to disarm ppl and then rob them while they’re unaware. I imagine it keeps a hoard of its stolen goods somewhere underground, maybe in cemeteries since their spookiness usually keeps ppl away.

Meltower is just a cool concept, but it definitely does look like ice cream--maybe in game it could have an animation where it starts off more traditionally fire colored and then lights up as it gets more heated?

I still think it could be fun to see you do some videos where Pokemon that were missed opportunities in the currently known regions. For example, a Pokemon based on the Ramidreju in Paldea (I've had a few different conversations on this one and kind of like the idea of it being a Ground/Fairy-type) or maybe a Pokemon based on the Questing Beast for Galar or a Pokemon based the Tarrasque for Kalos. I hope those examples help when getting around to that project.

I love how both Numbnexus and Moxie Boosted agreed that Meltower needed to lawyer up and join a union lol Hell yeah, they should get paid! Get those employment benefits! (Someone needs to go and feed them regularly at the end of the month on behalf of the company, at least. Also, an insurance contract just in case the power plant goes kaboom again. I think Meltower should sue for damages, actually. Clearly they would win.)

You could still partake! I'm almost a hundred percent certain there have been some great guests who don't have a true YT presence lol one of them literally has "don't follow me" on their YT profile but they've got like a thousand subscribers or more from appearing as a guest who drew some cool AF fakemon. They also have X/Twit or Insta (though depending on how the future goes, maybe they'll migrate) and the only reason I say almost is I can't remember if I saw these artists here or on Subjectively (and I know for certain it was at least one but I think there were two.) So if you also love drawing fakemon, just reach out to TrueGreen! If you only do music, maybe there could be a special video specifically spotlighting Pokemon music creators. TrueGreen could include a fakemon as the inspo or make a cute true-mon pic based on each musical piece. OR you could maybe host it on your channel or a bigger name for Pokemon music could. Whatever works to get it seen! But if you don't ask, you'll never get an answer.

4:25 actually the hight is perfect as it is 1 inch shorter than a creeper as they are 2 block's tall and 1 block is 1 meter so 6 feet 5 inches tall

I'm so glad everybody else said Meltower looked like ice cream! I could totally see a convergent evolution of it that's an Ice/Ghost or Ice/Poison type. It has a cone on its head and bits of portable ice cream carts or coolers for the solid bits of its body. It would offer free (tainted) ice cream to Pokémon and children only for them to get sick/cursed and it to come along and eat them/absorb their lifeforce. Modifly is cool. Wish you had made at least one object it could curl up into or the like.

One of my favorite series on KZbin. Just amazing. Honestly, the guest Poketubers can be almost too critical sometimes. Like, Ron makes what should be impossible plausible. Sure, not every design is going to be perfect, but I’m just impressed how Ron is consistently able to walk the tightrope and genuinely infuse all elements given into one fakemon. The Pokétubers were really underestimating power of alchemy. Let’s say you have an alolan Muk next to a gyarados with intimidate. One of your opponents KOs gyarados. Boom. Now your muk has intimidate.

Its not a bad ability, but its almost always used as a gimmick teamed up with smeargle using minimize strats. So again in theory its good, in practical application it ends up being cheesy af
