I like the fact the book, being a guide for heroes and those pure of heart, includes steps on how to make sure the cyclops you stole the eye from is not inconvenienced by you stealing his eye. It's a neat little nod to the fact that as horrific this process should be, it explains the best way to keep your C/N/L/Good-Alignment. Sure, you're literally gouging the eye out, but you immediately replace it anyway and if you never wake up the cyclops, he'll be none the wiser.

It may not have done anything. When Finn was at the citadel, the guardian blood that COMPLETELY healed Martin’s leg got all on Finn’s arm stub and all that happened was a flower grew on it, probably because of the curse of the grass sword.

Finns arm wasn't really removed in the traditional sense of an injury either. It kinda got eaten by the cursed sword, honeslty i kinda think the grass sword ate his arm because curses usually take something from you usually. (my head canon lol)

All you need to farm a cyclops is 1 cyclops and a dismembered eye. Since the tears make the eye regrow you could just keep taking their eye out and regrowing it assumabling your able to restrain the beast
