I may not get 12,000 steps but do all my walks with a 20 and or 45 pound weight vest. Do about 4 to 5 miles in the morning fasted.

My main problem is recovery time. As a L.E.O and a small busuness owner, I only get 3 to 4hrs of straight sleep and several naps throughout the day.

You’re information is very valuable! I’ve been struggling with getting rid of my little bit of fat I have! Since I turned 50! I was down to 160! I gained my weight back ! I’m around 190! I’ll be turning 56 in June! I do fast between 18 to 24 hrs! Hoping it’ll help my weight loss! I want that lean look! I can’t run anymore! I used to run up to 17 miles! Did all races! Then I needed hip surgery! I go walking! I lift weights ! Trying to increase my push-ups! I was doing keto a couple of years ago! Eating 6 eggs everyday? Then I stopped doing keto! I thought eating 6 eggs was too many! I eat either 3 or 2 eggs with egg whites! Muffins! With my eggs spinach!!

should we still lift or do cardio if we are coming down with something like say...the flu for example. My nutrition and sleep are good and I train 5x5 progressive overload three times a week and do slow and steady cardio first thing in the morning on days that I don't lift. But I'm coming down with something and I have no energy and all I want to do is sleep, well I want to train but my body is telling me sleep! Tomorrow I'm training squat, bench and barbell rows. Should I ignore my body and just go train?

Great video! If I want to implement this with my husband so that we can change our lifestyle together, is the math in your steps the same for women? Also, I'm not a gym person. Would at-home pilates be sufficient as strength training? Thank you! 😊

I’d say Pilates is better than nothing and can have some tremendous benefits but I’d aim to include 2 weight based workouts per week to help round out your program. Yes the numbers can apply to women too. For a more custom plan you can check out the program linked in the top comment here
