Good one, thanks! You got me a bit cautious on US bonds... but I'm gonna buy some more medium term fund anyway. Subscribed to happy returns...

Ramin’s fund is the VHVG if I remember correctly

I believe Ramin is invested in VIOV (S&P 600 - Vanguard) which also have a built in quality filter.

Ejecting 8.3 million poorly paid workers will be inflationary due to loss of output not wage inflation , particularly food . They will simply not get the replacement workers from the local population - same problem in UK after Brexit....

If you actually spoke to japanese people a lot of them live in tiny shoe box rooms, bad nutrition, not travelling or holidays. But contrary to european and us people they don't shout about their bad situation.

The FEDs track record for accuracy using their DSGE model approach is truly pathetic. Why is that you might ask? The answer is the fantasy assumptions used by the mainstream economics profession - namely utility maximising, rational agents with perfect foresight. Such assumptions should remain in the domain of a Harry Potter novel. Great comedy show.
