Trump's American Carnage: Olivia Troye (interview) | FRONTLINE

Olivia Troye served as a homeland security and counterterrorism adviser to Vice President Mike Pence. She was a member of White House Coronavirus Task Force until July 2020. Despite being a Republican, Troye endorsed Joe Biden for president.
The following interview was conducted by FRONTLINE’s Gabrielle Schonder on Jan. 15, 2021. It has been edited for clarity and length. This interview is by far the most telling and informative and truthful picture of the Trump years I have seen. Olivia Troye is brilliant and a very thoughtful former administration employee. I cannot thank her enough for this interview. The one place I think she held back was when asked about Mitch McConnell and how he dealt with Trump and she gave reasons why he and other republicans said nothing to oppose Trump. Trump's two sons have admitted that all their golf resorts are due to Russian financing (from the oligarchs.) And Trump had all Russian partners on his Trump Soho building, but they were Russian mob as well and the Russians ended up going to jail and the project also went bankrupt. Look up Felix Sader. (Actual last name was very Russian). He was a partner and the son of the Russian mob investor. Sader went to prison as well. Then, Trump started getting financing from a Russian controlled German bank called Deutsche Bank. They've been busted twice for huge Russian money laundering operations and charged hundreds of millions! This is exactly why Trump has bent over backwards being nice to Putin. The very first (and only) thing Trump wanted to do concerning the GOP platform, when he became the Republican choice, was to eliminate ALL Russian sanctions!!! This made no sense. Putin is our enemy. He has lied to the last three U.S. presidents! Trump also said over and over and over that he had no ties with Russia... He had no business with Russia... He had nothing to do with Russia. That was a lie!!! Four months after Trump was inaugurated, his lawyer, Michael Cohen was caught bring signed contracts to Putin for final approval to build a Moscow Trump tower! He was promising Putin a $50 million dollar penthouse suite to help clinch the deal. Trump also held the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow in hopes of getting Putin to come, but Putin played hard to get. Which drove Trump crazy! Now can you see how this can be a really big problem? If our #1 enemy, Putin had money control over our president , it would be easier to get Trump to do favors for him... like when Trump was trying to kill all the Russian sanctions. In that case, smarter Republicans did NOT let that deal go through. So, there is a lot more to this that you may have read about. And a lot of it DOES in fact point back to Russia! But, not what many people were saying... Trump was never a Russian spy or any thing like that. But, it is all about the Benjamins!!!

She’s been speaking up a long time along with Elizabeth Neumann and Miles Taylor, although not a full hour interview. They tried super hard to get some of the more notable staffers like James Mattis to stand up and speak the truth about Trump, but they remained quiet or cashed in by writing a book about it (like John Bolton).
