Just how racist is Trump's racist America? Turns out not so much, in fact, the US is a less racist place since the the election of President Trump according to a new study from the University of Pennsylvania.

Most people have absolutely zero clue about historical accuracy, and the academic fields around history are full of revisionists who try to interpret history through a Marxist lense that, ultimately, gives incorrect conclusions due to Marxism and Capitalism being entirely non existent throughout most of history. For example, many medieval historians have chosen to see leper colonies through a class warfare and intolerance lense and therefore teach that these were examples of medieval Europe's intolerance. (There's plenty examples of medieval Europe's intolerance but this isn't one of them) When in actuality, leper colonies were some of the world's first humanitarian aid methods, set up to enable those who were afflicted to still be able to have a life amongst each other instead of being shunned or exiled in greater society. If the people of this time really were as intolerant as these historians try to claim, they would've killed lepers, not try to create safe harbours for them to live in, at the expense of the nation's treasury.

We all believe in evolution, yet we are expected to believe that different populations, in complete isolation from one another subject to different environmental and cultural selection pressures for thousands of years, all ended up pretty much equal besides a slight difference in skin pigment. One look at the violent crime statistics should rid you of this belief. I used to not care about race, but since looking into the facts, there is a certain demographic that i want absolutely nothing to do with.

delusion of equality ... and evolution stops at the neck .. equality has been established as the greatest thing for several generations now .. men and women and all races are equal has been one of the major lenses through which history and current events have been studied for generations now it bears all hallmarks of religion .. equality has only a circular definition unless reduced to one factor comparisons where things are rarely equal .. and people have to believe in unknowable eg. "subconscious" biases resulting in oppression to excuse the lack of equality today funny thing is .. we were taught all the relevant facts to figure it out .. it was just framed in such a way as to mislead us... probably because the teachers themselfs have been taught by equality believers .. for example Marie Cury ... a famous female inventor and as far as my research could find she truly shared equaly in her husbands work (for most other female inventors their contribution is sadly overstated) .. did all her work long be4 she had equal rights

We never forget President Obama taking a personal and public interest in Trayvon Martin for no reason other than skin color. President Trump has never said ANYTHING remotely as racist as that criminally forgotten episode of the disgraceful Obama presidency. We remember President Trump's Inaugural Speech: "When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice."

The results found by the ongoing study of white Americans attitudes to other races is only a very small part of the picture, as the authors of the paper make clear with the discussion within the paper. What is particularly interesting is that the attitudes of the subject group in the study seem to show an _increase_ in more racist views during Obama's presidency, which then fell to lower levels than _before_ Obama during the Trump presidency (with much steeper drops among Democrats than Republican supporters). Other studies have found that Americans do think that (a) Trump expressed racist views, and (b) that his presidency had embolden people with racist beliefs meaning that they were more likely to express their beliefs (these studies are referenced in the study quoted in the video). What seems to have happened is that average white Americans _DO_ consider Trump and his administration to have made racism more prominent among Americans, but that having racist views more openly expressed has meant that their _own_ views have generally become more accepting of other races - presumably because the counter arguments that they have heard have been far more reasonable and fact-based than the racist arguments. The _increase_ in prejudice during the Obama presidency is, in my opinion, perhaps explained by 'woke' left wing arguments predominating during that period having the opposite effect to what was intended. When people are constantly being told by those of other races that they are more racist than they consider themselves to be, this is more likely to _increase_ resentment (and prejudice) against the other races. So, the best way to reduce racism in America would potentially seem to be to (a) let the people who genuinely do have racist opinions express those opinions freely, and (b) for the people who want to see the racism that does exist reduced further to _stop telling people who AREN'T openly expressing racist views that they are just as racist as those who are._

I'm sorry but you do not make a convincing argument. To be clear I am not stating my side on this topic. In the paper, you used only a small percentage of Americans participated. To measure something so widespread simply 500 participates is incredibly small and participates must be representive from every state. Moreover, self-report methods are also unreliable for a number of reasons including the Halo effect. Also, a longitudinal study with the same participants are subject to Learning bias. Finally, one study does not prove anything. In science studies only support thesis but does not prove. Also, there are probably dozens of other research articles to provide counterarguments to this one study. Also, studies must be considered, in support and against to make a sound arguement.
